Very easy to assemble and the perfect starter Laser Engraver! Even as a brand new beginner, I feel there is SO much more I can do. Be prepared to purchase extras, such as an enclosure, exhaust fan and air assist assembly for the unit. Air Assist helps a LOT when cutting. Also, plenty of youtube videos and farcebook pages to look for help learning. Don't think you are just going to be able to buy one of these and start an immediate business or anything. There is a lot to learn. Have patience! But the S9 is a GREAT way to start! I only have mine for fun, but I never thought it would be so addictive! Now I make gifts for family and friends and it is fun. Sculpfun has excellent support as well.

There are many vids on YT about building and using if you are a beginner. Took me about 30 mins to put together. I downloaded and are using a paid version of LightBurn. Once you install the driver this machine runs perfectly. I did a few test engravings and used the machine to cut through .25" plywood. Once you get all your settings right and get a good grip using the software, I am sure you will be pleased with this laser.

The large work area was very attractive, and upfront I'm still happy to have the space. However, I've found a few things you don't notice while in the shopping stage. A. Make sure your X-axis is aligned correctly, with it being so long one notch on the belt is invisible, until you need cut pieces to line up. B. There is no Enclosure /smoke isolation exhaust large enough for this machine, you will have to build one yourself (if you plan to work inside).. also the enclosure will be huge 3ft x 3ft x 12"-20" depending on your needs. B2. The one honeycomb large enough to the whole area (also made by sculpfun) is very expensive, and could be another DIY project C. It will feel slow when doing large projects. It's running at the same speed, just in a longer race. The quality of the build seems good, parts are in marked bags with an easy-to-follow manual. Once you're set up you can knock out 25 4" coasters at once, or make large signs/wallart with nearly 2 sqft of workspace.

Very easy to assemble great starter laser. I wanted a laser that could do a larger area so I bought the extension kit. From assembly to first etch with lightburn was very easy going.

First I want to say through any problem I have had, customer service has been right on it. That is the only plus. When I first purchased it, the limit switches were not working properly. I sorted that out finally then the power supply stopped working. Two months after the power supply went out, the lens will not come off so I can change it. If customer service is the only thing you want, by all means, buy this product, otherwise, look for something else.

From getting the package packed extremely well, they had separate plastic envelopes labeled step 1 2 3 ..., etc I would highly recommend this product. I previously purchased one from MYSWEETY which was half together missing parts abd screws. You guys rock this was simple to assemble and lead software etc. I was very happy with this so far and cannot wait to really get down to using it!!!!!

I bought this machine to try and start a little business doing small projects everything was pretty good easy to assemble i never tried to cut nothing other then fabric it cut good but the biggest flaw was it leaves laser line burns on any project i did even on the lowest laser settings when you try and center anything it always leaves burn lines as you try and test fit anything basically ruining any material or project before it even starts so not so good had to return it
