  • The Best Xbox One Controller We've Ever Used!
Color: Blue & Gray V1
To start, the SCUF Prestige Xbox controller comes in cool colors like the Blue one we got here at Amazon. The controller arrives packaged in a nice black box with a lid. Play time! The controller is easy to set up and customize. Of course, we love that it is wireless (you can use it wired, too.) The controller itself is lightweight and has an ergonomic design so it's comfortable to hold. We noticed and appreciate the non-slip rubberized grip. It makes a difference in a good way when it comes to having a good grip on the controller. Rechargeable Battery: Lasts a long time. 30 hours of play time. Plus, you can still play it while it is plugged in for recharging. It is SO nice to be free from having to buy AA batteries for our Xbox controllers. All the triggers and buttons are very quick to respond. Overall, the best Xbox controller we have ever used. We would definitely buy it again. Very happy with our purchase! ... show more

  • Triggers are a huge Warzone fail
Color: Blue & Gray V1
I came from an Elite 2 controller, that of course failed like they all do sooner or later. Stick drift. Bought it from a warehouse store that has an awesome warranty... Thought I'd try this as they no longer stock the Elite at that store. Holy cow, not only is the ES2 controller cheaper, but its WAY better quality. Here you're paying completely for the cosmetics. The hair trigger option is useless as it only shortens the travel of the trigger physically. So if you're shooting, thats fine, it works, but then if you get in a car - you barely move forward. Total Warzone fail. The fine tune screws do nothing. With the Elite you can use the software to register that short trigger pull as a complete pull - so vehicles zoom off right away. The paddles are way to big for my 220 pound 6'2 hands/fingers. And they flex. A lot. They whole thing is creaky and crunchy. Feels like a toddler toy. The right stick would stick when I first got it. Figured out you have to adjust the "anti friction ring". Think that plastic ring safety seal on a bottle that pops off when you unscrew the cap. Thats what it is. It literally slides in and out of that cavity around the sticks. Purely for visual pop. Huge nuisance. At 200$ this a huge rip off. The Elite 2 is 180$ if not on sale and just a way way better controller in almost every regard I can attest to. The possible exception is longevity. I've had 3 Elites now. They last on average 4 months of "quarantine time" play sessions. Then the sticks drift and/or the bumpers register as multiple presses per each press. Buy an extended warranty with the Elite, or use Microsoft warranty service (takes about 2 weeks and is free) and you'll be much much happier - even with that huge hassle. This controller is a Lego. The Elite Series 2 controller is an Erector set. The biggest gripe about this controller is the price and the triggers. At half the cost, I would maybe consider it. Micro USB? Really? But now, its basically useless to me as I almost exclusively play Warzone. Instant return and no regrets. ... show more

  • Remapping buttons is super easy
Color: White & Gray V1
I've always wanted a Scuf and finally got my hands on one this Christmas. My favorite part is being able to remap difficult to press buttons to the back paddles. In my head this was going to be a difficult process but it was so easy, and kind of magical. You just hold up a "key" to the controller and press two buttons. You don't have to open anything, or download any software. Seriously, it was so easy. I have very small hands and some games (mostly Ubisoft) seem to want to use L1 and R1 as your main attack buttons and its just awkward to hold a controller that way when you have small hands. This is now my preferred controller and I have like 10 different controllers! *This was a gifted product, but review is still honest and true* ... show more

  • I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. Love, Dad
Color: Black & Red
Out of the box, it worked great. Setup wasn't difficult, just had to get my hands used to buttons on the back. The controller definitely improved my game. One year later... I'm an old dude that takes care of my stuff, so it's pretty disappointing that a $200 controller that only gets used about 8 hours a week and has no contact wear barely made it past the one year mark. The battery holds a charge well, but I think there is an internal connection issue. With a full charge and vibration off it shuts off in the middle of games. So, it's now a corded controller. Also, one of the paddles broke off tonight. Since they work by flexing, I'm surprised one didn't break sooner. Will I be buying an 8 cent piece of plastic for $20 so I can get it working again? Probably. Will I buy another "high end" controller? Probably not. ... show more
