See photos…first is my screen I was replacing, then the new screen after replacing it, and a bit of the process. The screen was perfect and such a great price and comes with the screwdrivers and prying tools you need. Last time I had my screen replaced professionally and it cost me over $500 and took more than a week to get it back from the shop. It’s a racket I couldn’t afford this time, so I bought this screen and decided to try it myself using a video on YouTube instead. It only took 30 minutes!!!! Next time I can def do it in closer to 15…and the screen works perfectly, exactly as advertised!!! But this screen, grab a good video how to, and safe yourself a ton of time, money, and stress.

Screen installed perfectly and works absolutely great. Problem was when purchased, all photos of screen also included the tools necessary for installation but tools were not included. Was a bit deceptive and had to order 3 separate sets of tools in order to get the correct tools.

This screen replacement was the best for me. I got multiple quotes from repair shops and they said $500+ at all of them. That is a ridiculous price to pay for a computer that cost me $800. With that being said with this option it has worked out for my great. Easy install for me. I am pretty good with tech so this may be harder for someone else. Only reason it is not a 5 star is because the brightness is a little bit lower than my old screen. And I mean a little bit. if I didn't use this thing 5 hours a day I wouldn't have noticed. That is okay though and I am very happy with the product. Saved me over $300.

Screen works and looks nice, however it is noticeably lower quality than the original screen. Instead of glass covering over the LCD and webcam, it appears to use a thin plastic that flexes very easily, and worries me about the overall durability. The screen shipped without all the metal brackets that secure the connectors from the LCD to the LCD daughter board with screws. I was able to take these off the original daughter board and put them on this one but it is something to be aware of when you are replacing the screen. The screen is definitely dimmer than the original (I'd guess around 200 nits), but still pretty usable. Although a curiosity I noticed is that the screen seems to have a shielding problem as my cell phones transmission would cause corrupted lines to appear on the screen when it was transmitting while resting on the screen.

I can't complain about this product. It is not the same as the original in terms with brightness but it does the job as I only use my MacBook Air M1 for daily minimal tasks. Highly recommend if you want to save some money and not over due for a laptop upgrade yet.

I bought this screen replacement for my m1 MacBook Air after I accidentally cracked the original one. Here are some pros and cons of this product: Pros: - It mostly matches the color of the MacBook. The space gray is not too different from the original one. - The screen seems color accurate and bright enough for most tasks. I did not notice any dead pixels or backlight bleeding. - The webcam works fine and the brightness sensor adjusts the screen brightness according to the ambient light. - It allows me to continue using my laptop without having to buy a new one or pay a hefty fee for Apple's service. Cons: - Immediately, I noticed that the finish feels different in the hand. The MacBook Air has a smooth finish than the rough aluminum finish of this product. - True Tone is gone. This feature adjusts the color temperature of the screen to match the environment. I miss this feature a lot as it made the screen more comfortable to look at. - There is a panel gap between the machine and the screen, so it doesn't sit flush with the body 100 percent. This could makes the laptop more prone to dust and dirt getting inside. Overall, this product is fine for what it is. You can tell that it is a third-party screen and it's not the original one, but it does the job of replacing a broken screen. Apple charges around $600 without AppleCare+ and trade-in to Apple is worth only $75. This $200 solution is probably the cheapest option. It will get your machine working again if you want to keep using it, but don't expect it to be as good as the original one.
