Do not use on St. Augustinegrass, Floratam, dichondra, lippia, carpetgrass, or bentgrass lawns. Use a Scotts® drop, broadcast or rotary spreader to evenly distribute Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed3. Apply to a wet lawn during any season to thicken your lawn and crowd out weeds. Weed stems and leaves will begin to curl and twist just a few days after applying, but a month or more may required for control. We live on almost a half an acre lot, and have lawn areas in our front, back, and side yard. Lawn weeds are rearing their ugly heads now in the San Francisco Bay area, fueled by recent rains. I purchased this Scotts Liquid Turf Builder with Plus 2 Weed Control for my husband Jim to apply to our lawn areas. Holy Cow, this product is amazingly effective! Everything about it exceeds our expectations. So easy to apply, attach bottle to outside garden hose and apply by spraying on desired lawn areas. So much more efficient and easier to apply versus a granular product that requires a spreader. Also, using a sprayed on liquid, you can easily apply the product to just the areas that need it. Love the dual weed and feed combination of this product, a great bang for your buck, and a great value. The product is very effective. We noticed weeds starting to die within 24 hours of application. I've been using this product for years. My lawn is weed free and always green (except in the winter months). It is easy to use and has provided consistently great results. I've tried some other off-brands to try and save a buck, but they never worked as well as this product! I apply it about once a month during the spring/summer months. I wish I had a better "Before" photo to show the difference because the photo I used is not my lawn when it was at its worst. That is the photo from when the house was up for sale. After I bought it, I went through years of just completely ignoring my lawn while I was going through some medical problems and could not deal with yard care. It became really overgrown with weeds and at one point I got sick of them and started to use roundup in spots... and of course that inexperience cost me because for years after that, I had huge brown bald spots the size of kiddie pools all over my front lawn. Of course after that, anything that grew in that spot just ended up being more weeds (mostly crabgrass, dandelions, etc). It was a terrible eyesore and embarrassment to me. After my health problems resolved, I started taking more pride in my house appearance again. I built a greenhouse and a garden dome in the backyard, so I started spending more time outside and caring about my lawn again. My mom had been pushing me to use Turf Builder for years because it had dramatic results for her. I didn't really believe her so I sometimes procrastinated. She got frustrated and even bought bags of it to be delivered to my house and then she came over with the seed spreader to push me to do it--because she stressed that I needed to do it at the beginning of every spring and fall season. I started to use this product more, along with overseeding on my own, more religiously every season. These are the results of just 1.5 years of growth. My lawn went from one of the worst looking in the neighborhood to one of the best. The grass is full and lush. I can start taking pride in the outward appearance of my home again. Applied as per directions. Grass greened up nicely after a week or so but did not seem to do much for the weeds. I can see where the granules resulted in small white spots on the leaves of the weeds where they landed but did not kill the weeds. Have used before in the past with better results.

This worked better than expected. I had clover and some other big weed taking over my lawn. After a day or two of using this product the weeds were curling and dying away. It’s been about 2-3 weeks now and my lawn is clover/weed free after my last mow. I’m very impressed and still have a lot left over as I only used 4oz of product.
