It includes Scotts All-in-One Particles to build strong, deep grass roots to protect against heat and drought. Scotts Turf Builder Southern Lawn Food is formulated for Southern lawns. DIY homeowners can apply the product to a wet or dry lawn during grass growth season. We recommend using a Scotts fertilizer spreader to apply this product. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 1/2. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 6. If fast results are desired, lightly water the product in after application; however, watering is not required. Return unused product to original container, and sweep any product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk, or street back onto your lawn. Do not apply this product to warm season grass types within 1 month of first expected frost. One 28.12 lb. bag of Scotts Turf Builder Southern Lawn Food covers 10,000 sq. ft.
