The One I had... was stolen from my big bay,,,, but this one works just fine... wish it were about 12" longer though.... I have to use a ladder to reach the part to pull down and to release the lever,,, a ladder is needed.. Of course I have a 5th Wheel and these are much higher than a typical trailer with low ceilings... so a little help with a ladder is fine! ... show more

The hook is bent too much or not enough so had to bend it to fit and be able to pull the attic door open. While it’s nice that the stick is extendable what is not nice is you can’t lock it in place. You can’t use the item to help close the attic door in place.
