Advertised as a Youth release but works great for any archer with small hands. Excellent quality. Not a kid's toy. The comfortably padded leather strap can adjust to very small wrists. The NCS strap that connect the head to the body can be infinitely adjusted to accommodate short fingers. The release mechanism is incredibly smooth. Improved my accuracy immediately. Though I haven't had a chance to shoot with this yet, this release fits really well! I have small wrists and always have to buy a kids size in bracelets to fit. I like this style of release overall and it has a good feel. I like that the strap is adjustable. Overall an excellent buy for the price.

    • need to make sure the jaw closes
The release can be adjusted to accommodate different hand sizes. The biggest problem I have is that when attaching the jaw to the bow string, I need to push the trigger forward, or else the jaw may not close properly. There were several times I forgot to do this, and when I started to pull the bow string, the string escaped from the jaw resulting in misfiring (my finger was nowhere near the trigger). My husband and I each has one of this release and we both experienced this same problem. ... show more

    • This is a youth arrow release
Only rated low because you cannot tell this is a youth item until you get to the bottom of the amazon advertisement. The Scott webpage says this very clearly. I have relatively slender wrists for a man and I had to use the widest adjustment to get it around my wrist. If you have larger wrists this will probably not fit you. Otherwise great product. Very light trigger. Seemed to release the instant I even thought about it, which is good if you are trying to avoid developing a flinch although could be a drawback for some situations. ... show more
