Very pretty design, but definitely GOLD and not COPPER or ROSE GOLD. I'm pretty disappointed because it doesn't match the rest of my office decor now and I didn't like the style of the other "rose gold" tape dispensers on the market.

This was my third attempt at buying a tape dispenser. The first one I tried would come off the table every single time you used it. The 2nd did the same thing plus tape would not rip off. Hated both and wasted money. I seen this one and the price was not to high and decided to give it a try. So glad I did.     • Beautiful and Sturdy
I am a teacher, so I use tape all of the time. This dispenser is just perfect! It has a sleek design and looks beautiful on my desk. The metal teeth are sharp and work well. I buy rolls of tape in bulk, and the no-name brand of tape rolls fit perfectly (they measure 3/4 in by 1,000 in with a standard diameter). There is a bit of squeaking when the roll gets low as the roller mechanism is plastic, but it doesn't bother me too much. The dispenser has a good weight to it and I can use it one-handed. (If you really tear at tape and are worried about using it one handed, then get a dispenser that has concrete or something else extremely heavy -- this particular dispenser is on par with any weighted dispenser I have used). I like it! It also comes with a roll of tape already in it. Beautiful copper color that will pass just fine with the rest of my rose gold office decor. It's heavy which is good. You can securely pull a piece of tape off without it flopping around.

    • Nice, but big!
I ended up returning it only because it has such a big footprint. That's subjective and highly relative to the size of your desk, so the product doesn't lose any stars for it. The dispenser is weighed down with sand and definitely won't move under normal use. The finish is also very well done.

What can I say, the old one was very old and sprung a leak...the weighting pellets were going everywhere. I like the color and the angular kind of look as it is a bit different and fits pretty well with my kind of steampunk vibe. A vintage look would be even better, but dang, have you priced those lately! It sits right below my monitor so I have to look at it all the time which is why appearance matters a bit with this item. So, this looks and works like a tape dispenser ought to. Probably will have this around for a while. the plastic wheel that holds the tape broke and i doubt i can find a replacement so its not durable enough to withstand any abuse but its still a nice looking dispenser update.. my child managed to break the hub that holds the tape in the dispenser. well see if we can get a new one for less than a new dispenser... crossed fingers... ... show more
