I’ve been using this rechargeable light bulb in my kitchen, and it has been incredibly convenient. The brightness is excellent for everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and meal prep. I especially appreciate the remote control and timer functions, which make it easy to adjust the lighting without getting up. The magnetic feature is a nice bonus and makes installation and repositioning simple. The battery backup provides peace of mind during power outages, and the bulb continues to work when needed. While I currently use it in my kitchen, I can easily see it being useful in many other areas of the home, such as bedrooms, hallways, closets, garages, or even for emergency lighting. It’s versatile, practical, and well-designed. My only minor downside is the battery life. In my experience, the battery lasts around 3–4 hours before needing a recharge, which feels a bit shorter than I expected. However, considering the brightness and convenience it offers, it’s not a deal-breaker for me. I've been looking for a good bedside touch lamp for awhile and while this things is freakishly adorable and I love it I can say it's definitely not that. Looking at pictures and videos and comments complaining about how bright it was I was holding out some hope that this was in fact, a bit bright. Not in the sense that it would light a whole room but enough that it would illuminate at least the area around my nightstand or be bright enough to read by. It's definitely not that. As you can see from the picture it barely lights up the area around it. It does create a dull enough ambient light that I could navigate my room at night, so a "night light" it is most definitely, but anything other than that...no. That alone was disappointing (but not the product's fault as it is indeed described as a night light) and again pictures can't show everything. The white light which in pictures shows up as fairly white is extremely yellow in person. I know it's described as warm light, but it is VERY warm light, which I'm not incredibly fond of. There is a light in between white and an aqua that shows up after the red which is closer to what the pictures show but it also illuminates a little less. I know all of that sounds like I should give it a lower rating, but the fact is that it is exactly what it claims to be. A warm white night light with rgb colors. And to that effect it works well and lives up to itself. I can't fault it for any hopeful expectations I might have had. It's adorable, feels well made. It taps on easily, though it is extremely sensitive and will turn on and off when you set it down etc. I think there are two models. One where the base is more rounded and flashes the rgb quickly, and this one which has a flatter wider base and breathes the colors slowly. The one I have the colors breathe nicely and you can tap to hold one if you like it. If you're looking for a cute night light or just a cute decoration for your room or something you can navigate by with the lights off then this is a great purchase and for that and I love it. If you're looking for an actual lamp that's bright enough to see things by look elsewhere unfortunately. The only real con I'd give it is that, like others have said, the charging port is on the bottom, which is annoying. It is also covered by a little flap which tends to want to push out the charging cable when it's in. It's difficult to get it to stay plugged in. I suspect removing the flap may help, but I haven't tried it yet since I'm not sure how necessary it is. ... show more

I bought the 4 pack to prep for power outages, storms. hurricanes, etc. and occasional camping trips. Tested out of the box: 4 hour to charge from empty to full. at 100% brightness (about a 30-40 watt bulb) they last for 8 hours. at 60% brightness (15-20 watt bulb) they last for 16 hours. at 30% brightness (better than night light) they last for 5-6 days. They will work while charging. Will not charge from the magnetic base. Attached hooks are convienent for hanging. A single remote can work on all bulbs as they are all on the same frequency. They are line of sight so you have to point at each bulb. There are 4 remotes in the box. Seems a little plasticky in construction so would not use them outdoor for prolonged period of time, but should be ok for occasional use and indoor purposes. Don't know how long the battery will hold charge without long term testing. ... show more

    • Battery only last for about 2 hours and then turns off, so you have to put in the other one.

Great idea, love the look. The only thing I was disappointed in is the battery doesn’t last very long! So the light runs out and turns off in a couple hours after charging for a day. Glad they gave me two so I can change them out but disappointed/

I gave this to my 13 year old son as a gift. He loved it. It turned on right away without needing to be charged. The colors are bright and change based on the remote. The battery stays charged for a good amount of time. The bulbs don't get too hot. The box came with two LED lightbulbs, two remotes, and two chargers. This is a good value for what we paid. They light up the room, and my son loves that he can shut them on and off remotely without having to get up. ... show more
