It started out pretty good, and the concept is great, but it could use some tweaking and it didn’t last. First, the pros- the “kickstand” idea is great and making it removable for wireless charging is what I bought this case for. The negatives- 1. The pop out kickstand really feels like it is positioned upside down in your hand. If you are using it to hold your phone, not just to prop it up, the curve faces the wrong way. If I turn my phone upside down so that the curve hooks over my fingers it is much more secure. It should have been a simple tweak to make it pop out from the top and curve down instead of the bottom and pop up. And it seems obvious when you hold it. So why? 🤷♀️ 2. The clip for removing and replacing the kickstand so that you can wirelessly charge is not super easy to remove or replace. I use a wireless charger every night and it’s a bit of a pain to get the kickstand in and out. 3. The pop out action of the kickstand wouldn’t stay flat after a few months. It would only stay in the popped out position. If I really fought with it or removed the kickstand piece and flattened it before carefully replacing it, it would stay down for a while. But as soon as I touched it it would pop back out again. Not helpful for putting a phone in pocket or purse. 4. The deal breaker- the clip (mentioned in point 2) is made of plastic and is not strong enough to last. It snapped off after just a few months of use making the case completely useless. For the price I definitely expected it to last longer than a few months. So, all in all, I will probably opt for a different case now that I have to buy a new one. Which is a shame because this is a fancy concept. But it really needs some work to deal with these quality issues. ... show more

I've used the Scooch cases for a few phone models now and found them very convenient. I was exited about getting another since I upgrade to an Iphone 12 and they advertise they improved the clip by it being removable thus capable of wireless charging (old model does not allow for wireless charging since the case is too thick and perhaps the metal in the band prevents it). Nevertheless it's impossible to unclip this band section. I'm afraid if I push any harder it will break off. I will continue to use it without removing the clip section but I am disappointed that they released it like this. It's not ready for prime time. ... show more

Well, I had another Scooch case that lasted as long as I had the phone. It was for a larger (max) phone type. I purchase the same case for my new iPhone 12, but it seems flimsier. It makes a cheap plasticky noise when you hold it in your hand and the kickstand moves around in the rest of the base. Doesn't seem as solid as the original one I purchased. I'm a bit disappointed. I thought about returning it but don't see something else on the market like it to replace. ... show more

It just fell apart. The rubber bumper came loose from the plastic backing and now my phone slips out of the case. I bought this November 2021 and by May 2022 it is useless. I quickly quit using the kickstand because it was not worth the trouble of popping it in and out of the case. For $30 it should have lasted a lot longer than this. I'll go back to buying cheap cases. They work just as well as this one. Update: I was contacted by Scooch regarding my case. They denied my request for a refund, but they offered to warranty the case, however there was an $8 charge. In my opinion $8 is about what this case should retail for, so I passed. ... show more

I really enjoy this case for the stand function. It’s awesome that it works in both portrait and landscape mode. I really enjoy the galaxy print, but the paper is a little flimsy and it could be a bit more vibrant. The stand doesn’t work in my work car’s air vents like advertised. I also worry the part that snaps in and out to allow for wireless charging will break easily. The case would be virtually useless after that. So far, the case has survived one fall. The stand snapped off, but the phone remained intact. There are a couple of rough patches around the edges of the case from the fall. ... show more

This is my third Scooch case. I have found them to be exceptionally reliable and I just love the leg. It can change from a flat case that I can slip into my back pocket or I can extend the leg to watch a movie while I’m having lunch! Love this case! I have found them to be very durable and they have protected each of my iPhones extremely well. I highly recommend purchasing this for whatever brand telephone you have but in particular an iPhone. I have always used a pop socket or loopy. Cannot go without those. But when I saw all that this had to offer I couldn’t wait to order and receive. I still love it and have recommended to my four kids and 2 of my best friends. The only thing so far that I don’t love is the kickstand for when I need to hold my phone. And when I use to put on my air vent it sometimes slips off. Maybe if the kick stand had a little more curl in it? I am trying to get use to it as I am sold on the fact that for me it had every thing I was looking for. Oh and the designs of the inserts are not cute.
