My 5 stars are a lie. I just wanted to get your attention if you aren't the type to read the 1-star reviews. In the last year, it's been my experience that anything on Amazon with a 4.5 star rating or higher with many reviews is hogwash. "Verified Purchase" with no profile = LIE. This product is no exception. Nearly 60 bucks for a flimsy piece of plastic? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! My Otterboxes for previous phones were HALF that, and you could bounce your phone off the wall within one of those. This thing is like a checkbook wallet -- with less substance! You drop your phone in one of these, and you're done for. TRUST me. What you're paying for is the S Pen (which is about half the price of the case) -- the other half is likely going toward some executive's Golden Parachute. The case is a real Samsung case with the s-pen. Its kind of awkward to hold open with the flap dangling causing you to reposition your hand. This case is durable and has a leather feel to it. I have dropped my phone a few times and both phone and case are unscaved.

It arrived quickly. Basic black and relatively finger smudge proof. Great way to gain the pen. One of the only cases to keep pen handy. CONS: Very difficult to open as both sides are even so you have to pry it open each time. Front flap is flimsy and when carrying in a bag or purse. The protection for the rear camera lenses is minimal at best due to there not being a raised edge. Gets the job done but case is NOT worth the price. Just buy the pen separately and buy a better case. ... show more

    • When the 10 dollar cases from anonymous sellers look better....
I spent 80 dollars on a case that, frankly, isn't worth the free shipping I get from Prime. The pen is great, but if I were to trust the pen holder to retain it, would not have had the pen long enough to fall in love with it. The front flap of the case does indeed have a magnet which activates the front screen. What it doesn't have is a magnet that actually holds the flap down so it flops around whenever it's not in a pocket or held tightly. Want to answer the phone, you are relegated to folding back the flap like a librarians worst nightmare customer checking out hardcovers. The fit is below average, it Impedes the opening process and whomever thought the spine of a folder is a good place to add a rigid holder for an equally rigid pen, should be horsewhipped by every human who has ever held a book. The only nice thing I have to say is, it seems to actually protect most of the phone. Not the cameras. Or the front screen...(flap flap flap) but the rest seems to be ok. Garbage, absolute garbage.     • It LOOKS professional, but the utility is lacking IMO
So the case itself looks great- it makes the ZFold look like some sort of professional gadget, and i still get that "OH WOW YOU HAVE THE FOLDING PHONE" effect when i whip this bad boy out of my pocket. I like having the spen around for some things, and its nice that you can remove the pen if you dont want it on there as well. I am disappointed that the case doesnt fold in a way that can act as a stand or anything useful. In fact it does make it harder for me to fit my phone into car mounts/holders now, and the front flap flips over and obscures the camera if im not careful. But at the end of the day i got this on a black friday sale so Paying 30$ vs the reg 80-90$ I had been seeing means that the overall value holds for me, but it owuldnt at that higher price! ... show more

It gives you something non slippery to hold on to the phone. The phone itself is slippery and this cover gives you a secure feeing while using it. It also protects the front screen. If you listen to the critics about the front cover not fitting well then pass on it. But these guys don’t care if the phone falls out of their hands because they have no intention to keeping it. It’s just a review for them. On the plus side you do get the $50 pencil with it making the case $12 ! I listened to many of the reviews before I got the phone but no one really covers how much the folding screen means and how fantastic it really is to use. Oops that’s for another review. This is for the case. This phone’s design makes it difficult to get a traditional case so don’t expect to fine one. There are the big bulky ones which will give it protection but I don’t like bulk. ... show more

Everyone says throw this case away, I don’t get it. The case feels very premium and nice in the hand. When the phone is closed, for quick access you can leave the flap open to use external display. For more comfortable use you can fold over the flap to the back and it feels very secure and comfortable in the hand and in my opinion is easier type with because of the small incline. When the phone is open there is about an inch of exposed case on the left but this is an advantage because when you push it flush to the edge of screen it creates a secure triangle you can hold comfortably one handed to watch cat videos or interact with spen. Arguably the biggest down side to the Fold 3 is no spen housing but again I think this case makes that an advantage by housing a bigger more ergonomic stylus effortlessly. ... show more
