The case is a real Samsung case with the s-pen. Its kind of awkward to hold open with the flap dangling causing you to reposition your hand. This case is durable and has a leather feel to it. I have dropped my phone a few times and both phone and case are unscaved.

    • Not the best but ...
It arrived quickly. Basic black and relatively finger smudge proof. Great way to gain the pen. One of the only cases to keep pen handy. CONS: Very difficult to open as both sides are even so you have to pry it open each time. Front flap is flimsy and when carrying in a bag or purse. The protection for the rear camera lenses is minimal at best due to there not being a raised edge. Gets the job done but case is NOT worth the price.     • Gives phone adequate protection
It gives you something non slippery to hold on to the phone. The phone itself is slippery and this cover gives you a secure feeing while using it. It also protects the front screen. If you listen to the critics about the front cover not fitting well then pass on it. But these guys don’t care if the phone falls out of their hands because they have no intention to keeping it. It’s just a review for them. On the plus side you do get the $50 pencil with it making the case $12 ! I listened to many of the reviews before I got the phone but no one really covers how much the folding screen means and how fantastic it really is to use. Oops that’s for another review. This is for the case. This phone’s design makes it difficult to get a traditional case so don’t expect to fine one.     • Avoid, run, hide your kids from this case. Video.
This case is literally junk. If you're buying this case thinking you're going to be protecting your investment, then look elsewhere. Lets start off with the Pen. The Pen is great. If you ever used any Note products, you will not be disappointed. The pen holder does not 'clip' in. It sorta slides in and held on with the slightly rubberized pen. Over time, the pen's surface will degrade and bye bye pen. Or should I say "buy buy" pen? The case. What the hell was Samsung thinking? There are 6 corners that this case has to protect. It manages to only protect 2 out of the 6. Even the 2 corners it is protecting is barely protected with a thin rubber plastic. The rest of the corners is just free game for cracks and dents. LASTLY, if you plan on flipping the case open at ANY point, GG for your battery. The case has a tiny magnet that tells the screen to turn on. Well, after using the flap, it flexes it to a point that it permanently keeps the screen on. Indefinitely. I have my phone in my pocket and normally can get through the entire day. After putting on this case, I get about 1/3 the day. If you watch the video, you can see what's actually happening in my pocket. Avoid, run, hide your kids from this case. This is the most worthless piece of junk you will ever buy in 2021. ... show more

    • I'd return it, but...
The case material is pretty nice. Nothing great. It's pretty dissapointing after that. It's awkward to hold whether you're using the full screen or in candy bar mode. When you're holding it in candy bar mode. Having the flap wrapped around the back leaves it to a very unnatural and uncomfortable position for your hand. It extends too far out the back and there's nothing to grip on that way. When you have it in fullscreen mode the flap extends passed the phone so it's even more awkward to hold. You can move the flap to the right and have it fold at the creases of the case and use your left hand fingers to grip onto it that way, but it's still uncomfortable to hold it that way. If you want to use the selfie mode using the main camera shooters in candy bar mode. Well it's not gonna work all that well. Unfolding the flap to the back covers the main cameras so you can't really use selfie mode for it. I don't really take slefies, but it has to be pointed out. The only way you'd be able to use the main cameras with this case on is to unfold the phone to full screen mode to keep the flap from getting in the way. First world problems? Yea definitely, but I'm pointing out the issues for an almost $2,000 phone. Especially a case that was designed by Samsung. Or at least has Samsung's name on the case. I'd return it if it wasn't for the s-pen included with it. I just ordered another case that holds the s-pen and doesn't have the annoyances of this Samsung case. Three stars just because the S-pen comes with it. It is was just the case, it'd be a one star ... show more

Everyone says throw this case away, I don’t get it. The case feels very premium and nice in the hand. When the phone is closed, for quick access you can leave the flap open to use external display. For more comfortable use you can fold over the flap to the back and it feels very secure and comfortable in the hand and in my opinion is easier type with because of the small incline. When the phone is open there is about an inch of exposed case on the left but this is an advantage because when you push it flush to the edge of screen it creates a secure triangle you can hold comfortably one handed to watch cat videos or interact with spen. Arguably the biggest down side to the Fold 3 is no spen housing but again I think this case makes that an advantage by housing a bigger more ergonomic stylus effortlessly. ... show more
