They are brass and will tighten up easily, but mine came just slightly looser than expected... No big deal, my fault for not checking, but man, seeing transmission fluid pooling under the vehicle after 6 hours of other work😬... I replaced the water pump, fan clutch, thermostat and other parts at the same time, hence the long install. The radiator only took an hour of that time ... show more

leaked coolant right out of box this radiator was never pressure tested from factory leaked on right side at machine crimp where radiator meets tank above lower hose inlet don't buy threw a gallon of anti freeze on floor poured out as quick as you pour in un unacceptable never even started vehicle had to buy one from O'Reilly's i do not trust buying again from amazon ... show more

Bought close to 6 months ago, and the cap neck is ovaling making the cap not seating correctly. Also has a small leak by the lower coolant hose. Don't waste your time and money.
