So far so good. Not the worst to replace on an 11' IS250. Had to put the brackets from the old alternator on the new one, as well as one of the studs to hold the wire retainer. Very thankful for the good price.

I bought this alternator because my alternator in my 2008 Lexus IS350 which is original with 201k. slowly started to go out. all of the sudden smelled a burning melting smell. And a buzzing engine winding noise when the radio was on. My voltage while sitting still was dropping all the way to 10.5.so I changed the battery first. however however, it was definitely alternator after seeing this happen after putting a new battery on. now the car has perfect voltage at 14.2 while driving or sitting difficult job getting the last 12 mm nut out but could be done with a 3/8 breaker bar And 12 mm deep socket ... show more
