I recently started studying electronics and needed a scientific calculator. Yes, I was about to buy one of those state named calculators but got this instead. Why? Price and the built in electronic notepad. So far, I haven't needed additional functionality from the calculator, and the notepad is quite convenient. It's not as responsive nor bright as I'd like, but it works. The stylus is flat and thus doesn't quite feel like a pen nor pencil, it's basically just a light piece of plastic. But the screen can save notes while closed for several days. There's no memory function for it though. Once you hit the clean button, there's no retrieving previous notes. But at the price point, it's hard to beat.

The review is for 'EUPLONG Scientific Calculators for Students'. It's a scientific calculator. It will calculate in correct sequence but it doesn't display what you've typed beyond your current number. So no history shown. They keys are soft. Sometimes it missed my input - not very sensitive. But once you get used to it it's fine - for kids who don't use a phone, this may not be a problem. I ordered the calculator for its solar charging and the notepad. Unfortunately the notepad is not as bright as shown in the picture when you write normally. You need to use your full strength to make the writing readable. The pen is slide into the cover which is good. The calculator is thin despite the added notepad. After close the keys are well protected. Note this would cover the tiny solar panel too.
