The media could not be loaded. Seems like an advanced set I think - definitely to much for my 6 year old but I could see this being better for older kids who like science and math. Probably preteen or later Has good instructions though if you want to help your kid build it. I like that it seems to show a step by step guide.

This toy does require AAA bateries, despite all the solar hype. Batteries must be purchased separately for toy to charge to independent solar use. (Not very apparent in the description). Children 8 - 10 may need adult guidance to slowly assemble.

I thought this was bigger. It was a gift. The box was very small so I can only assume the parts are very small and it didn't involve the child for long. When I say samll I'm not exaggerating. It was a bit embarrassing as it was planned as the only gift.

It was a great activity and it kept my son busy for a long time. Especially when he has extra time. Parts are small, but definely a fun project. He enjoyed it we assisted him with it a couple times. It has 14 different robots to make and he like having the chosen to make different things. Great buy, something different for kids that like advance building things and evern better when hey get it moving..

Complicated instruction for children of this age. Details are hard to come by. I racked my brains with the child, but only my husband could figure it out. My kid used to love to design, but after two sets of this brand, he was disappointed in designing :(
