It’s a Christmas present and it’s only Nov ‘23 so my kiddo hasn’t received it yet, but we put it together and it’s a great bike! Some reviews and answers to my question said you can’t add training wheels… that’s not true. You just need to buy the right ones. We got the Schwinn SW80275-6 Training Wheels and they worked. They need to be the style with the brace arm, not the little rectangle support piece. Note the training wheels DO NOT come with the bike. Picture for reference that they can work. Will update my review after she has used the bike for a while if I have to remove any stars. If this review stays at 5-stars, then all is good! ... show more

It took me about 10 minutes to assemble the bike. I just had to attach the seat, handlebars and front wheel. That's all / The only thing is that when inflating the front wheel a problem arose, the inner tube burst. She was probably old. I bought a new tube, changed it without any problems, it was very easy to do and now my child enjoys his bike. ... show more

Good bike but be warned training wheels can’t attach. Also we had to take to local bike shop to align brakes. Otherwise exactly as expected and my 6yr old loves it.

This 20in kids bike is great for those growing kids. Overall the color and graphics are very nice. You do need to supply your own tools to put this together though. It was fairly straight forward to put together and the included instructions helped me tighten up the breaks. I do think there are some issues with quality control as the pedal mounts came slightly bent in. It doesn't affect being able to ride the bike, but it is noticeable. Also, one of the bolts that secure the tire came dented in. The cap that normally covers that bolt during shipping was not on there. I think the cost is a little high as well, but my kids like that bike so I guess that's all that matters. ... show more

Is this a good bike? I doubt we'll ever know, because the assembly instructions are USELESS. Couldn't even understand the first step. They list two possibilities for the handlebar. Quill and Threadless. Huh?? Do they show a picture of each? No. Labeling and instructions are the worst I've ever seen. Instructions to use an allen wrench when no such possibility exists. Calls to customer service got me somewhere, but they sent me a video link which, if followed, would require me to buy about $100 of tools that I don't have. I managed, despite all this, to figure things out, only to have the back tire pop right off the frame/rim. Sure, they'll replace it, but not fast enough. SUPER annoyed because I spent extra on this bike because it said it would be delivered in time for an event in a few days, and now that doesn't help me any. ... show more

Sturdy, built like a tank, no rattles, has BOTH coaster and hand brakes, reasonably priced, looks nice. Way more sturdy than the kid's snap together rattletrap Huffy. Fairly easy to assemble, with pedals, seat, handle bars and front wheel left for the customer to attach. Adjustments took a while. The headset was way too tight from the factory requiring a large wrench and some fiddling to get it just right. If you are not handy you might need a professional to help you. The front fork should spin freely with no binding but also should be tight enough not to rattle. The bike came well packaged with lots of cardboard and plastic doodads to protect the finish and the threads. Don't have many complaints. The bike is a bit heavy and I would prefer V-brakes over side pulls. The painted rims are not ideal for braking but performance should improve as the glossy paint wears. Nice bike for the money. Seems like a good sturdy bike once you get it put together, took me about 30-45 minutes. I ordered two of these, the First one I ordered had a defective back tire that I was unable to get air into. They sent a replacement really quickly. This bike took me a while to assemble because the handle bars and brakes were difficult for me to attach or adjust correctly. ... show more

This is a very good bike for the money. Everything a Schwinn should be. There is very limited assembly which is nice. My only problem was adjusting the hand brakes. The hand brakes are very hard to get working and adjust. I’m very mechanically inclined and watched several YouTube videos and I still couldn’t get it right.
