I’ve purchased a number of scar treatment kits over the last few months and this is by far the nicest one. The others are the silicone tape style … either rolls or strips. They aren’t bad and may work, but this seems much nicer. It has a small container which you pump a few times and apply from the tip which has three metal balls that roll over your skin and apply the silicone treatment. It’s a pleasant experience and I could see the wetness but didn’t feel any sticky or uncomfortable residue. It’s difficult to assess how much of the silicone is in the tube to know how long it will last or how effective it will be. I imagine it will be different for everyone depending on the severity of the scar. It’s much more pleasant to use than the tape though and I am very impressed by the application method for this product. ... show more

I have been using this cream on my scars for a few weeks now. It softens the skin well and I hope with regular use it will reduce how noticible my scars are. I haven't noticed any rashes or skin issues using this cream so far.

I was pleased to find this product is made in the USA at Mitchell-Vance Labs in CT. This was a huge draw for me since I feel like I can trust US made products to be safe. The applicator for this scar serum is really cool and unlike ones that I've used before. It has 3 little metal nodules at the tip that you use to massage the serum into your scar. You simply release some of the serum with a couple of clicks like a pen at the bottom, and then massage the serum into your scar for a minimum of 30 seconds using the massaging tip. The serum itself is light and absorbs super quickly into the skin. It is not sticky or tacky, and makes skin feel soft after use. Massage has long been noted as an effective way to help break up scar tissue, so I think the applicator makes it more effective. You have to use the serum 2x a day for at least 30 seconds. I have started using this on a scar from earlier this year that I have on my knee and I am hopeful it helps it fade because it looks like a bruise. The package says that results in appearance may take as little as 4-8 weeks to see. I will come back to update this review after that time if I see results in the scar that I am currently using it on. ... show more

    • Easy to use, no irritation
This scar treatment is very nice - I have a lot of prominent scars, so I've tried a lot of products over the years. This one has NO scent or odor, and is not sticky at all! The roller massage head applies the product easily and smoothly, and feels really nice to massage my scars with. The product itself seems like it's just the right amount of moisturizing, and helps soothe my itchy & painful scars. Time will tell if it helps reduce my very old scars, but at the least it is a very soothing product to help calm the issues that come with old scars. ... show more

I ordered this scar serum for a pet bite mark on my arm that has a pink scar months after it happened. It is super easy to apply with a pen applicator that you rub over the area for 30 seconds twice a day. It is nice that you do not have to touch the serum and can take it on the go to be used anytime, anywhere. The directions say it can take up to 12 weeks to see real results so I will update if the scar does disappear. In the meantime, I am using it regularly and noticing slight improvement but it will take time. ... show more

    • Super easy to use and only 1 ingredient!
I still can't believe this is only one ingredient.. only medical grade silicone! Since this baffled me, I did some research and learned exactly how it worked. I think my scars (from kitty scratches mainly) have improved a lot since using this. The product itself is super easy to use, just make sure you read the 'how to use' since you have to push the bottom of the pen to get the gel flowing and you need to massage the gel on the trouble area until it absorbs. So far I really like this product and will continue to use it on all my cat-battle scratches! :P ... show more
