I purchased this product on my husband's account so I will review it here but my name is Cristie and as a provider in OB/GYN, I am very impressed with Scar Science. I have personally used this for a surgical facial scar and an arm laceration that was the result of a fall. I have had great results with both wounds and I am recommending it to my patients. First - The Brush Applicator: This is so innovative in that it allows the silicone to reach all the surface tissue of the healing scar. The soft brush bristles make this so easy, especially if the scar is still tender. Second - The Silicone Consistency: We have been using silicone for scar care for years because nothing works better. The silicone in Scar Science feels like a high end moisturizer. It goes on smooth and is not greasy or tacky like some other silicone products. Third - The Push Button Dispenser: To use the gel you push the bottom button and the gel comes right onto the brush. I love that I can apply without touching the gel with my hands.
