  • Tan vs. Clear Strips- Each have their uses
Size: 8 Count
I have tried both the tan and clear versions of these strips and I think both have their uses. First I will list the similarities between the two: - both are much larger than I expected. I am using them for a scar on the side of my nose and I cut them to the correct size. I can get about 5 uses out of one strip. This makes their price much more reasonable. - Both last about a day for me. The packaging says you can leave them on for up to 10 days, but I exercise, work outside, and sweat a lot, so I tend to take them off each day. I think that if you wanted to shower in them, the clear ones would be better as they would not hold water. The tan ones have the texture of a cloth band-aid and hold water when they get wet. - Both are equally comfortable to wear. I have a latex allergy and very sensitive skin and have had no issue with either. Tan Strips: - These are easier to use than the clear ones. It is much easier to get the backing off the strip and to apply it because it is thicker than the clear strips. - The texture of them is different, very much like a cloth band-aid - Due to their thickness, they don't seem to stick quite as well as the clear strips. However, I am using them on my nose, which has a crease. They may stick better on flat skin. - I like to use these when I work outside because they provide sun protection. I was told that it is very important to keep sun off of scars, and my scar is on my face. You cannot put sunscreen on underneath these strips as they won't stick, so using the clear strip means that your scar will be exposed to the sun. The tan strips block the sun well. Clear strips: - These are much more discrete than the tan strips. When you are wearing one that area is a bit shiny, but otherwise they are quite invisible. - It is VERY difficult to remove the backing from the clear strips and once the backing is off, they tend to roll and stick to themselves. With practice you will get better, but it will always be a challenge. - These seem to stick slightly better to curves and creases (e.g. the side of the nose) than the thicker tan strips. - I wear these when I want to be discrete and not have an obvious bandage on my face. ... show more

  • They Work, But You Have to Stick With Them!
Size: 8 Count
My son used these diligently for several months on a burn scar, and we noticed a significant reduction in the redness over time. It didn't make the scar disappear, but it definitely helped improve its appearance. The biggest key is consistency. You have to be patient and committed to wearing them as directed because the results come gradually. If you're expecting immediate results, you'll probably be disappointed. The only downside is the cost. They aren't inexpensive, especially since you'll likely need more than one box if you're treating a scar for several months. That said, after seeing the improvement in my son's scar, I do think they were worth the investment. If you're willing to be patient and use them consistently, these silicone sheets are an effective option for helping reduce the appearance of scars. ... show more

  • Better than the gel
Size: 8 Count
I’ve used the ScarAway gel, but I prefer the silicone sheets. They’re easier to use and stay in place. Comfortable and effective—I’ve seen good improvement with consistent use on my 4-month-old surgical scar.

  • It works!
Size: 8 Count
These are amazing! I have used both the clear and the cloth like ones. They both work. The cloth like ones are easier to apply. Depending on where you are going to use them, they may or may not stick to the skin well. I used the clear ones on my arm just above the wrist. They stayed on very well. For many days. Probably average of 5 days. That scar is gone! Then I had anterior cervical fusion. Neither of them stick well to the skin on the neck. I am now using the cloth like ones and I put a piece of surgical tape over it. That holds it in place for as long as I want to leave it there. The surgical tape starts to look kind of bad after 5 or 6 days so I take it off when that happens. It is amazing the difference it made in that surgical scar the first time I used it. I did start using them as soon as the doctor would allow me to, probably 6 weeks after the surgery. I can see a difference each time I remove one. ... show more

Size: 8 Count
Been using for 2 months. There's little change on the keloid look so it kinda works. Will continue to use for a year and see

  • They fall off way too easily
Size: 8 Count
I cannot get these to stay on my skin. Even using cloth tape to try to keep them on does not work. And it’s unfortunate, because from the limited time I was able to wear them, they really did seem to work.

  • great for scar healing and protection
Size: 8 Count
i ordered this one, the clear version and gel. out of 3 products, i like this one the best. it is easier to apply and more durable than the clear sheets. it helps with scar healing and itchiness in dry winter, mostly the sheet protects my incision scar from rubbing against the clothing.

  • These work!!
Size: 8 Count
I am a believer! These scar sheets are amazing. I had a spot removed on my calf that resulted in a 2+ inch long scar. I have been using these every day since the skin healed (after stitches were removed) and it is truly amazing how quickly the scar is healing. The lower leg is the slowest to heal, so I didn't have high hopes for a speedy recovery. Only 4 weeks later and there is no redness/discoloration and the scar softens more each day. I highly recommend! ... show more
