I bought this coffee table to replace my aging coffee table made out of fiber board. My previous coffee table was heavy, and parts of the surface were swollen from leaving cold drinks on it (100% my fault for not using coasters), and was starting to look worn on the corners. I was looking for a coffee table and the only requirements is that it looked modern, not too gaudy, was affordable, and easy to put together. The table arrived in a flat box that was easy to transport into my modest condo, and assembly was pretty straight forward. Tighten until snug, but do not over tighten. Everything feels solid, but I also wouldn't stand on it. The frame is relatively sturdy, but being made of hollow square tubes I suspect with enough weight it would crumple. The glass itself is tempered, but there are not supports in the center so I wouldn't place anything too heavy on it either. A large vase filled with water would make me a little wary. Again, this is not due to the quality, but more of the design of the table. Since the only things that live on my coffee table are remotes and an iPad, I have zero issues. The see through nature of this table also helps brighten up the room a bit compared to my old black coffee table, and thus makes the room feel a bit larger. All in all a great buy, and would buy again without hesitation! ... show more
