I've been playing guitar for 20+ years, owning all of the fancy USA models in the process...Gibson, Taylor, Martin... I wanted a cheap 12-string cutaway for S&Giggles, but didn't want to spend a fortune in the process. HOLY COW!!! This thing is AMAZING!!! I dont care if it is made in China, this thing is quality. Beautifully flamed maple back and sides, spruce top, heavy weight, and beautiful tone. I had to adjust the truss rod when I got it, but this thing flat out rocks. Holding it up next to my Gibson EC-20 Starburst, there is very little difference in the overall build, design, beauty, and functionality for a jumbo guitar. The case it came with was so nice, I actually MOVED my Gibson into that one and put the 12-string in my Gibson case! You can't beat this for $350. It's an awesome guitar and definitely one you can take anywhere... a gorgeous guitar that won't kill your pocket book if it gets damaged. Perfect!!! ... show more

Referencing the example I received, it’s absolutely perfect! There are no gaps or poorly fitted joints anywhere on this guitar. This guitar arrived in a hard case as ordered. Obviously the instrument had been tested and played as the setup is perfect for me. This guitar tuned up in minutes and was ready to play. The Fishman preamp is powerful and the tuner is as accurate as any I own. The strait grain in the top wood is just visible below the finish (something I like to see in a solid wood instrument). Plays well and holds tune. Looks good and the case should help keep it that way. Replaced the strings with a set of light gauge strings and it was ready to go. I think that it's a great guitar for someone looking to add a nice playable 12 string to the tool set.

I was Leary to purchase this as this brand is mostly beginner level instruments. I have been playing for 35 years and this jumbo 12 string more than exceeds my expectations, nothing cheap about it, very good craftsmanship. The preamp and electronics are top notch. I never experienced what happened when I opened the box the guitar was packed very good when i took the wrapping off i was looking at a beautiful guitar and it was flawless the surprises weren't done typical setup actually easier than most and when I tuned it and played it I just couldn't believe how wonderful it sounded.i a world were you pay to much for to little this was the exact opposite. ... show more

Yes, the guitar is well made; the neck is straight and has no twist. The onboard tuner is very helpful since it is a 12 string. The only concern is that the bridge has no adjustment to get the strings closer to the fingerboard other than to sand down the bottom side of the plastic insert in the tailpiece. When it comes time to change strings I plan to sand it down further. Just remember that the pickup is located at the base of the slot where the bridge locates. I ended up making my own plastic bridge so the factory one was available in case of problems. ... show more
