I bought this cast-iron wing to upgrade one of the stamped ones that were supplied with a Rigid 4560 (equivalently a Delta 36-725 T2) table saw. It’s heavy (I estimate it at over 40 pounds) and very nicely machined. The extra weight adds stability to those saws. The holes on this don’t line up with those on the table-saw rails and main table, so some drilling and hole widening is required on this. But some cobalt drill bits and a high-speed deburring bit on a die grinder easily take care of that. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • Sturdy addition to the table saw.
I bought these to replace the stamped aluminum wings that come with the saw stop. It takes a helper and a bit of work to get them in and flushed up with the rest of the saw, but definitely worth having.

This extension wing fits my Rigid TS2424 perfectly. No drilling, grinding or anything similar. Just bolts in place. Pricey yes but perfect otherwise!!

This wing was an addon to my old craftsman 152 which had cast wings. I looked all over then found this sawstop wing. They must have used the craftsman patent to make these, they look like a dead ringer. Even the mount holes lined up. Did have to drill and countersink the end support bolts into the reip fence angles but that was the hardest part. The only thing I didnt like was the ad itself as it lacked specific diminsion details or I would have ordered it sooner. ... show more

I bought this extension wing ~2 years ago and it's never been flat. Stupidly, I modified it to fit on a Unisaw by drilling out additional mounting holes before checking for flatness. It wasn't until I was setting it coplanar with the table saw top that I noticed there's ~1/32 cup in the center in the long direction. I couldn't return it because I had already modified it and having it planarized would have cost just as much as buying a new one. My options were to set the center level with the table saw surface, which means my wood would catch at the front and raise off the top on the rear, or level the front & back with the table saw surface and have the center dip below the table saw surface. I opted for the latter and frequently have issues with sheet goods catching on the sharp edges at the interfaces at either edge of the cast iron extension wing. I wrote this review 2 years later because I'm still bitter about it, partly because I failed to check it before modifying it, partly for SawStop sending me this metal potato chip.     • Fits perfectly and was easy to replace the steel ones.
Of course, this is made for the SawStop and it worked and fit perfectly. Product was in great shape and was a great addition to my saw after removing the steel panels that came with the saw.

Dead flat no issues there! Very well packed. I had to drill three holes in order to attach it to my Ridged hybrid saw and replace one of the stock bolts from my saw to a longer one. Worth every penny!
