Style: W/ 30" Premium Fence
So I saved and saved and for Christmas this year finally bought my sawstop! So irregardless of the last review my delivery went flawlessly. Amazon sent it via CEVA and it was factory pack to survive a war zone. The driver got it off his truck on a pallet with a palletjack and busted his butt to help me down the driveway and into the shop considering the snowy weather we had just gotten. Not a single thing was damaged! Assemble looked daunting but was not nearly as bad as I thought. It took two of us to lift it upright but after that I was able to completely unpack it and get it all assembled by myself in one day. All of the parts were precision made And bolted together easily without modification. The factory adjustments were almost perfect. I only had to adjust the brake cartrage to the blade, and the parallel fence to the the blade. Now from here on take into consideration that I've only had the saw for a bit, and have not done a serious project with it yet... The saw seems to be very accurate but I plan on adding a wixey digital scale to it. The saw could definitly use a outfeed table, but I don't believe the sawstop one will work with this fence. The power behind this saw is impressive to be sure, and it runs ultra smooth and quiet! I didn't recieve the mobile base at the same time as the saw and I hate that now it hast to be installed post assembly. Although possible it won't be easy. The factory blade was suprizingly good all things considered, and I think worth investing in their other blades, but I'm told their system is compatibable with Forest blades. Overall I couldn't be happier with the purchase, and with the expert delivery! I would definitly recommend this to anyone! **UPDATE** 2/19/14 So I've had the new SawStop in use for almost two months now. I bought the rockler tablesaw miter sled for it, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the accuracy of the saw. Cuts are stright and precise... Infact I find myself useing it over my compound mitersaw for crosscuts. I contacted SawStop and their outfeed table was compatible with this fence. I ordered it and do like it, but plan on redesigning it to be a flip down outfeed table that will attach to the back of the sawstop. That can't be done with their legs so I'm going to use a couple of drop leaf braces. The mobile base assemble was a two person job if your doing it after you have stood the sawstop upright. It went well but I had one bolt that the hex head tried it's best to strip. The wixey saw fence digital readout is an awsome acessory for this sawstop and installed with no drilling of the saw's rails or fence at all. Infact the only modification I had to make at all was to notch the wixey bracket that attaches to the fence, other that that I used all the SawStop bolts and the gauge works perfectly. I actually haven't had to change blades yet, and am still impressed by it's quality. I bought two more SawStop brand blades, and a forrest box jointing blade set because it's typically more precise than a stacked dado. Very happy though with the purchase and enjoying useing it to work in the shop!

This is the 6th Saw stop I have purchased for my shops. They are great saws. I typically would buy from a local supplier but this unit was for remote location so the shipping was the appeal. When I reviewed the ad I assumed the 30" premium fence" referred to the rail length and since I build these into large tables I buy a 14' section of tubing to use. The fence is not the standard (and we'll made) beismeyer style I have received in the past. It is like I ordered from the wish of table saw fences. Probably great for the contractor saw but not a cabinet saw. Shame on me I should have paid more attention so I asked customer support if I could pay the difference and swap out the fences. They sent me an email with the description of the ad.....oh well, definitely buy the saw, but I would definitely recommend doing so through another supplier ...zero support

I ordered my SawStop from Amazon this past weekend ...in stock and ready to ship...and received a shipping confirmation from Amazon that it will be delivered this Thursday and I was very excited. I put an ad on Craigslist for my Grizzly Cabinet Saw and in a little over 30 minutes later it was sold....Great...out of the way for setting up the Saw Stop.. I got a call earlier today from the shipping company saying they will deliver my package Friday afternoon.....what? I already made arrangements to have help Thursday to carry it to the barn so I asked if the delivery company would be able to help me carry it in...The lady on the phone said it only weighs 45 pounds and is one package...What exactly are they shipping me that weighs 45 lbs. and is not a SawStop???? I called Amazon and was now told by a customer Service rep who had a "I Couldn't Give A Crap Attitude" that it would ship sometime after May 25th....because it wasn't in stock....absolutely no concern on their part about getting this corrected and getting me a saw that has already been charged to My MasterCard...even at $100 higher than the SawStop listed price...I just earlier sold my saw and have a ton of work to do and no SawStop being delivered. Their response was you can get a refund and buy it somewhere else...oh yeah, by the way, the free SawStop accessory offer ends today. Amazon's pathetic customer service and incompetence has really caused me problems, loss of shop time and $$$$ ...

This is a great saw that I got for a great deal through Amazon Warehouse Deals. I would recommend that it's worth it for the upgraded fence/table on the higher models, and maybe even dropping down to the 1.75 HP with the better table. I bought this one but, as planned, upgraded to the larger fence and still saved quite a few dollars over just buying the higher end one straight. If that's not an option for you, I recommend the better fence. Delivery was smooth and setup was relatively easy, although it did have lots of parts and packaging.

Works great, accurate, quiet. Recommend watching videos on setting up and aligning cast iron wings. Also the fence can be adjusted. I was disappointed at first, then watched a youtube video on adjusting fence. Unfortunately it does not come with the safety carriage for a dado stack, I purchased separate.
