Amazing table saw. It is amazingly quiet compared to our old table saw. Cuts well, cuts straight, no board bounce while you are cutting. A bit tricky to assemble but worth all the trouble in the end.     • Overrated junk
Received my saw 3 days ago and didnt order from amazon but leaving a review here. Immediately taking the saw out of the box I was not impressed my saw with the 52 inch table was just under three grand with tax and delivery. The wings are garbage. The base doesn’t look like the base of a $3000 saw. So I immediately called the place. I ordered mine from which was taco tools and asked them if I could return it and exchange up for the cabinets saw. They told me they had to contact Sawstop directly and see what they could do. Two days and several calls still nothing back from sawstop. Apparently they think everyone works like they saw, barely. So I had to get things done. I put this all together today and this thing is straight up a piece of junk for the money. The motor is horrible. It has zero power. The dust collection is horrific. I have Delta dust collector hooked up to it, and it’s not collecting any of the dust it all sits on the top of the table and in the guide rails. I have the compact so and it works just as good probably better than this one. It’s definitely made better than this one. One of the most disappointing purchases I have ever made and the companies customer service is horrible. I will give them props. They had the best directions and hardware packaging. I have seen on a product in a very long time. Whoever was in charge of that she probably be in charge of everything related to this. ... show more

    • After activating the brake, saw won't reset. Bad design flaw.
I spent more on this saw than any other piece of woodworking equipment. I had a tables accident as a cabinet maker, and know the risks. It seemed like cheap insurance. I've raved about the accuracy, etc of this saw. BUT, I had an activation of the blade brake recently. Fine. I removed and replaced the blade and brake cartridge. According to their advertising and manual, that should be it. Nope. The arbor that holds the blade is in a housing that is hinged on the elevation mechanism. Since the activation, my blade does not reset firmly into place where it should. It slops up and down almost 3/8". I've talked to support three times and tried their solutions repeatedly. No joy. This saw is not safe to use in this state. Until it's fixed, it is a very expensive boat anchor ($2,875.00 boat anchor). It's beautiful and worked OK for over a year. But it won't reset, so it's worthless to me. Very frustrating. Support guy told me the cabinet saw resets easily, but these are not so easy. Wish I'd found this out before buying it. ... show more
