  • Savior MS170 Carburetor: Breathing New Life into My Stihl MS 170 – A True Savior!
As any homeowner with a Stihl MS 170 knows, this little chainsaw is a workhorse, but like all machines, parts can wear out. When my trusty MS 170 started acting up – hard to start, stalling, and generally running rough – I suspected the carburetor. After some research, I decided to give the Savior MS170 Carburetor a try, and I can confidently say it lives up to its name. This replacement part is a genuine 5-star product that has completely revitalized my saw! The first thing that impressed me was the ease of installation. I'm reasonably handy, but not a professional mechanic, and this carburetor was a perfect, direct fit. All the connections lined up precisely, and I had it swapped out in about 15-20 minutes, including removing the old one. No modifications, no forcing, just a seamless replacement. This alone is a huge win for a DIY repair. But the real magic happened when I fired up the saw. Gone were the multiple pulls and frustrating sputtering. My MS 170 started on the second pull (cold!) and purred like a kitten. The idle was stable, the throttle response was crisp, and it had all its power back. It felt like I had a brand new chainsaw again! I've since used it for several hours of limbing and cutting firewood, and it has performed flawlessly, maintaining consistent power and never once stalling. Considering the cost of an OEM replacement or taking it to a shop, the value for money with the Savior MS170 Carburetor is exceptional. It's an affordable solution that delivers professional-grade performance. It saved me a significant amount of money and the hassle of being without my saw for an extended period. If your Stihl MS 170 is showing signs of a failing carburetor – hard starts, poor idle, lack of power – do yourself a favor and pick up the Savior MS170 Carburetor. It's a high-quality, perfectly fitting, and incredibly effective replacement that will have your chainsaw running like new again. This product is a true "savior" for your Stihl! ... show more

  • Inexpensive, great quality carb, fast! Thanks Amazon
This is such a great kit. It saved my hide. The saw quit running and everything else was good, spark, compression and new fuel. That left me trying to clean the old one. The gasket tore and the jet inside stripped. So here we are with the modern fix for everything, Amazon Prime. After installing the carb, the saw fired right up and away we go. No adjustments needed. Inexpensive, quick fix for a common problem. Always run non ethanol high octane fuel. ... show more

  • Fit and works fine
This is good replacement/ aftermarket carb. If you don't have other problems with the saw, it is a sure fix.

  • Just buy it
Got my chainsaw running in one pull. Perfect fit. Absolutely not worth rebuilding the carb and I will buy another one of these next time. Can’t believe what they charge for rebuild kits.

  • Fixed a boggy chainsaw
My chainsaw would bog down. This kit fixed the problem. Watched a YouTube video and installation took about 30 mins. I highly recommend watching a how to video as there are a couple of not obvious things to know
