The world of swimbaits can be stupidly expensive - but Savage Gear has us covered with these. I've got the 5 inch and 7 inch versions - will be picking up a 9 incher to round out the collection. These have a great action, especially for a sub-$30 bait, and they work terrific as a "chop glide" - I've been fishing these for a few years now, and I've caught about a dozen 4+lb fish with these baits. If you want to get into glide bait fishing without spending upwards of $100 or more on a bait, this is a great way to start. Check out their soft baits too - their line through baits and single hook baits are great fish catchers as well. The 5 inch can be thrown on a typical worm or jig rod, the 7 incher on a flippin' stick, the 9 you really need a dedicated swimbait rod for.

I recently got into glide baits over the summer. This was right in my price range and man oh man!! The action is amazing, the paint job is perfect and durable, (took a couple bad cast) and for the price?! I can’t wait for that 10 pounder to smack it on the lake

I have fished it once and so far so good. Need to get out on bigger waters to see how it holds up to the abuse. It cast well in low wind conditions and has great action with minimal effort. The only thing I wish was the paint scheme was dulled down a bit for fishing in clear lakes. The same bait in Tennessee shad or thread fin shad colors would be killer!

Save your money on buying overpriced swimbaits and give these a shot. They work great and the action is spot on. The only thing I change since I fish for the biggest fish possible is I replace the hooks with 2x strong ones. Highly recommend!

VERY poorly designed tail. The soft plastic tail fin sits in a little cavity at the tail of the bait, and there is nothing that holds it in the cavity! No glue, no ridges on the side of the cavity or tail to hold it in place! A half of an ounce of pressure will pop the tail right off, and into the water it would go. A shame that I was not able to throw a cast with it after waiting three weeks for it to arrive.
