  • TLDR: Like it
Size: L: 29.06" x W: 20.95" x H: 71.18", Color: Soft White Finish
TLDR: Package was heavy. Adjusting the doors and drawer to fit correctly was hard for me. Overall satisfied with the end product and would do it over again. Important disclosure knowledge for the reader. I am a middle aged women with a crap back and a bad knee and no one readily available to help me build things. I recieved the delivery 1 day early to my condo lobby. I knew it would be heavy, but I like to assume I can somehow manage. I began to slowly “walk it” to the elevator by advancing one corner after another. Eventually another resident arrived and helped. Getting it to the room I wanted was the hardest part of this build. After 2 days of stepping around the package that was blocking my hallway, I decided at 6pm on Friday now was the time. Probably against all recommendations, I used a knife to carve the top off the box, because I could not move it, or figure out how to open it without lifting. This worked out great. I slowly pulled out the pieces and moved them to the final destination. At this point I was feeling pretty overwhelmed and highly suspicious of all the different colored pieces in the package.(turned out they are just to weight the cabinent, so don’t panic they are out of view) I decided to sit and read the directions before starting. After a quick flip through them, I was back to the person that knew she could carry the box to her apartment alone. Filled with underserved belief in her abilities!! Recomendation (ammature tip): this build is exponentially easier if you have a pouch. Any kind of pouch will do. A kangaroo pouch, one of those brown pouches that go on your belt, or for me, it was a hoodi with a front pocket. Having already being handicapped by my lack of a third arm, this pouch came in clutch for holding screws needed and my screw driver. I began to build cabinent. It seemed easy enough at first, besides the random “problem” screws. I spent almost 4 hours building it, although I often took breaks to stare at it despondently, and feel hopeless. I repeatedly sent texts to my friends with update on my step progress. It didn’t look good for me. I swore I would break at step 9 and continue the next day. To be fair there was nothing I was not capable of doing, or maybe that is my underserved believe again. I finally was able to stand it up and then my “break “ converted to sitting on the couch slowly screwing on door hinges. If you are a motivated fast worker, you can probaly cut several hours off my time. This is where I ran into issues, but this could be a “me” problem as I can glance over at the pantry and notice similar problems. It was very very hard for me to get the gap between the 2 doors uniform. Finally, after many adjustments I declared it to be “good enough” and moved onto the drawer. Ahhhh the drawer it was not my redeemer. When I rolled it into the bottom it was completely off and stuck out slightly. I again adjusted and adjusted the screws, but alas, building cabinets was clearly not my calling, and I soon also decided I no longer cared and it was passable. Side note: I was absolutely delighted by the direction that said “zZzzzz almost done take a nap!” I loved the little jokes through the directions, I credit them with my lack of tears during my “breaks”. After I was done, I rewarded myself with a glass bottle coke, which was a ridiculous idea at that time of night. I wanted to tell everyone about my accomplishments, but I decided it was sadly too late to text wardrobe pics to people. All in all I was pretty pleased with the end product, as well as myself. ... show more

  • Nice but not perfect
Size: L: 29.06" x W: 20.95" x H: 71.18", Color: Soft White Finish
Had some chips on few of the boards but over all for the price it was worth it. Took less than an hour to put together.

  • Nice looking but really difficult to put together
Size: L: 29.06" x W: 20.95" x H: 71.18", Color: Salt Oak Finish
Im making a bedroom in my house that once was a sunroom. It has windows, a door but no closet. In order to call it a bedroom, you need a closet. So I saw this one and decided to bite the bullet and buy it. It came beautifully packaged and 2 men had to bring it into the house. I'd advise you to pay the extra 9 bucks to have them bring it in unless you are a weight lifter and can bring it in yourself. It ways nearly 150 lbs in the box. So after getting it out of the box which was a feat in itself, I had to call the manufacturer, they respond immediately so that is good. A product is only as good as the service you can get for it. I thought a piece was broken, then immediately replaced it but just to find it was the way it was supposed to be on the drawer side. Now as far as the body is concerned. Not easy to assemble unless you are an experienced cabinet maker. The directions are good, but it is super heavy so that is also difficult to move around to put together. It does go together perfectly until you get to the doors. Then things go down hill. So far I have the doors on it but they make noise closing and opening. It says to adjust screws, we did at least 100 times and nothing is making the noise to stop. So this morning once again i will call the manufacturer and see what I am doing incorrectly. There are 2 of us putting it together. I have bad eyesight and my hubby has mobility issues so that plays a role in our difficulty trying to put it together. There is a video on line showing how it goes together. I'd advise you to watch it. Once I finally get this piece together properly I'll repost. But so far it is a beautiful big closet. I got the ash oak color and it is super nice. Good buy for the bucks. ... show more

  • Cheap for being so expensive. Requires modification.
Size: L: 29.06" x W: 20.95" x H: 71.18", Color: Salt Oak Finish
I think my rating is 2.5 stars. The positives: it looks good, fit where I needed it to, and goes together fairly easily. Albeit it required modifications to do what I wanted it to do. The negatives: It is physically a lot smaller than anticipated, and a significant amount of the height is the base, so you lose space there, as well. The height is probably ok, but it was narrower than anticipated. It’s also very flimsy. For the price I was really expecting some real wood instead of all particle board, alas… The fact that the instructions state that the cardboard back is load bearing and the wardrobe can’t stand upright without it is horrifying. The coat rod is too short and flimsy to hold much. In addition to which I had to drill new holes and raise the height of the rod 10” in order for it to be useful holding adult sized coats. Ideally I would replace it would a sturdier and better fitting rod, as well. I also had to delete the shelf… which may have taken away from the wardrobe’s stability. It would have rendered it completely useless though, imho. If the rod was installed in its original location with the additional shelf, I can only surmise that this was designed with toddlers in mind. I’m not sure what else you could fit in it. If you have no intention of hanging any clothing then the shelf may work for you. For the price I was just expecting a lot more. I still think it was the best option that I found, but in retrospect I’d have preferred something made out of real wood, larger, and sturdier. ... show more
