Would be a great cabinet if they knew how to measure! Pre-drilled holes for the front of the shelves are every 19 inches. Pre-drilled holes for back of shelves are every 20. Nothing annoys me more than unpacking, laying out the pieces and counting screws to ensure all parts arrive to get to assembly stage and find this type of issue. The Good Ordered on 1/6/21, arrived 1/10/21. Well ahead of expected. The Cabinet itself from Sauder is fine. Assembly is easy enough. No missing parts. Not a single extra screw or anything else. Minor door adjustment but that is expected. The Bad I feel I ordered and paid for a higher quality cabinet than I received. I ordered (3) Sauder Storage Cabinet 424001 which has full width non adjustable shelves. Engineered Wood 30.71 x 17.21 x 68.82 inches 80.9 Pounds. $264.95 What I got Sauder Storage Cabinet 419363 which appears to be exactly the same as 419496. Material Recycled Material 16 x 30 x 71 inches 73 Pounds. Cheaper cabinet than the one I ordered and paid for. Appears to be identical to 419496 for $203.05 from seller Cymax. ... show more

First off, the cabinet I received is NOT the model number shown on this page- it's a different model. The model I received is sold for HALF the cost at Home Depot. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this error until the cabinet was mostly assembled, as the picture on the box looks pretty-much identical to the cabinet I purchased. This cabinet is a piece of junk and is not worth $30, let alone $230. The "wood" is thinner than cardboard, flimsy, and the pieces do not fit properly together. The finish looks absolutely awful, the shelves do not fill the space allotted for them, and the doors and hardware do not line up. Do NOT waste your money. ... show more

Our kitchen does not have a pantry. So we’ve been looking all over for one. We’ve had this for a little over a month and we love it! It looks nice and it’s very sturdy. I was a worried about assembling the cabinet after reading the reviews, but I decided to take a chance and place my order. I’m glad I did! This cabinet assembled easily, I did it by myself in about 1hr. I was dissapointed with the quality and size. I would have preferred a larger cabinet but the quality was fair at best. There were some paint flaws and poor carpentry cuts. I have bought Sauder brand in the past and it was always very good. For the price of $253.00 it is not worth it at all. I am unable to return it unfortuntely but very overpriced for what you get. ... show more

I ordered two of these, and the first one is what I ordered and matched the photos on line. I carefully followed the instructions and am very satisfied with the result and the value. The shelves are strong and it's lighter than some cabinets this size because the panels are thin but sturdy with good thick end pieces all wood. The packaging was also very good. Now the problem. When I ordered another one it arrived and I took it out of the box, and guess what? It's not the right cabinet, and this one sold for almost 60 dollars less (before the price when way up on the real cabinet). The cheap version has a divider and shelves that sit on plastic tabs inserted in a row of holes that looks pretty bad. The real cabinet has strong fixed full width shelves screwed into the end pieces with long bolts and the top overlaps above the doors, not like the cheap which has the doors covering the full height. So, beware the mix-up and check the model number on the box before opening it as the picture shown on the box is exactly like the other one at a glance. Why would I suspect the second one would be different? Customer service, though they did give me a refund in the end, took a really long time to work it out and I offered to keep the cheapo for a partial refund but it's like they ignored that no matter how many times I wrote it in emails. It was delayed due to the holidays is my guess. I ordered this on one Nov 14th, and finally, I just put it out on the front porch to be picked up. I don't know when it will be picked up as they don't really let you know anything too specific. I made the mistake of ditching my old panty cabinet before bringing this one in, and then it was too late, so my panty is still in boxes along the hallways for weeks. Four stars for the product, but buyer beware as there seems to be many reports of this switch, not just in my case. The pictures look the same on the big box, so maybe they just can't tell the difference on their end some times, but it's got to improve. ... show more

The hardware and pieces were all nicely labeled and instructions were decently clear. Not all holes seemed to line up. The hardest part was putting on the doors, definitely a 2 person job. The handles shown online are not the same one I received which was disappointing. The overall quality of the piece is pretty cheap similar to cardboard or plastic so I would not buy this again. ... show more
