Beautiful, but, cumbersome
Color: Antiqued White Finish Pattern Name: Storage Cabinet
I have had my storage piece for over (7) years now. It does have decent storage capacity and the antiquing is beautiful; it’s an “edible-looking” distressed look. We use ours as a pantry. It was REALLY difficult to assemble and the particle on the back is inadequate, making the whole unit not very steady. As time has passed and we moved it for cleaning, it became more wobbly. The nails in the back were coming off and we just started taping it; the tape was out of full view. I’m ready to replace it and I’m opting for a plastic unit now; I hate building!!! But, like I said, I did get a good (7+)years out of it, so it did what it needed to do. ... show more

Nice Storage Addition!
Color: Antiqued White Finish Pattern Name: Storage Cabinet
I find product to be as described. The design is simple, and would work with farmhouse, vintage, cottage and coastal decors. Moving into a new apartment after many years, I discovered that newer built apartments do not offer much storage. Other than the sink cabinet, there was not nearly enough storage for bathroom supplies, in my case. This cabinet outside the bath fit my needs, since the area was not large enough to place inside for me. This unit was well packaged, with extra strong cardboard around all sides of the original packaging, then shrink-wrapped around that. It is a heavier package, so either two people are needed or, as I did, I had a dolly I was able to put it on to move. I was impressed with the extra care to protect the product in transit. All parts were well packaged and identified - nothing was missing. Instructions were easy to follow. Only a screwdriver and hammer were needed to assemble. Assembly did not take long. The front doors probably will require adjustment to get the doors to align perfectly. Instructions state that different screws can be loosed and tightened to move each door up/down or inward/outward. Product is manufactured wood. If you are able to find solid or partially-solid wood you the unit would be sturdier, as well as a higher price. There is a smell that is noticeable, but only seems to be when I open the unit. I would think in time this will diminish (have had for a week assembled now). I purchased the color Antique White. The color shown in the images is accurate; I would say it has a yellowish tone rather than an off-white or cream one. The photos provided do not show that the unit has a middle support. The top shelf, which is not adjustable, does go across the entire width of the cabinet. The remaining shelves are installed from each side to the middle support; there are six total half-width shelves that can be arranged to the height you wish. Overall happy with the purchase and it does look nice where it's placed. ... show more

Super solid and lasts for years!
Color: Antiqued White Finish Pattern Name: Storage Cabinet
I bought this Sauder Harbor View Storage Cabinet in Antique White finish years ago in 2014, and we have been using it ever since. It is ridiculously solid, quite heavy, the wood is thick (this isn't cheap veneer, folks!), and while it took a while for one person (me - I'm a woman) to assemble, it wasn't overly difficult. Your biggest hurdle about this one is that it is very solid and how heavy it is when putting it together, so definitely enlist some help with this one. I initially used it for storing extra linens and such, but when we pared down our things a while ago, I cleared this out and started using it as a much-needed craft cabinet. It stores TONS of crafts in the roomy and deep shelves, and the doors, hinges, trim, and overall paint job has been holding up extremely well, with lots and lots of use over the past 4-5 or so years. I haven't had to adjust anything or fix anything on it yet, it opens and shuts perfectly STILL (a feat I don't think I can say about another piece of furniture with hinges - normally, you end up having to adjust it here and there), and I use it often on a near-daily basis. It functions flawlessly and it's extremely sturdy. The antique white has a distressed look to it that's tasteful, with a cream color that goes well with just about any decor. This is one of those items that look way nicer in person than in the pictures, and I have nothing but good things to say about this cabinet. The style is pretty timeless. I STILL love it, and will be looking to order another one for another room pretty soon to replace it, because I like it so much. Overall, the quality is excellent, and if you have qualms about its longevity, I can assure you this storage cabinet was built to last for years and years once you properly assemble it. After nearly 5 years of use, it still looks fairly new! While this worked well for linen/bath storage, it also works great as a craft cabinet...and would look adorable in a nursery, too. It really is quite versatile and will work well for whatever you need to use it for, in just about any area of your home. I would give this 10 stars, if I could! Two thumbs up! ... show more

Nice looking cabinet
Color: Antiqued Paint Pattern Name: Storage Cabinet
Got cabinet, no damage to parts, Everything was there. Directions were clear, I used glue on all the joints even though it doesn't say to. The glue makes it so much more sturdy, takes the flex out of it. The cabinet was pretty square fitting, but I squared it up with a tape. The only thing that I found bad was the door was not glued together. I was just stapled with on small staple on each corner of the door. One staple broke loose, So I glued the bottom corner back together. Other than that it is a good cabinet for the money. ... show more

Good inexpensive cabinet
Color: Salt Oak Finish Pattern Name: Storage Cabinet

This was easy to put together. I put most of it together by myself. I am a 50 year old woman. I did need to get my husband to help me flip it over, stand it up and put on the doors. The instructions were easy to follow. It is press board with a heavy plastic coating on it so if you are expecting wood then look someplace else and expect to pay a lot more for it. I have purchased a lot of Sauders furniture over the years and this is what i expected. I am using it to store my crafts. I will be putting my cricut on the top shelf. The only challenge for me was finding storage bins that fit on the shelves. Sauders - if you are listening make your shelf space 17" wide so you can buy a universal sized storage container ... show more
