My wife and I ordered 2 of these to go side by side next to our bed. We were a bit nervous with reviews stating the item arrived damaged, missing pieces and that it was hard to put together. I am happy to say that none of the above were factors....except....keep reading..... Both dressers arrived perfectly packaged, no damage to the box or pieces inside and everything was as it should have been. All pieces were labeled properly. We unpacked everything and sorted the pieces ready to tackle these beasts at the same time together. With a bit of trepidation, we opened the manual and began out journey - and - it will be a journey - but - a surprisingly easy one! We started assembly at 7 PM and finished at 9:45 PM. So, the reports of this being a bit time consuming are correct, however, the instructions are absolutely some of the best I've ever read. PAY ATTENTION TO THE PICTURES! All of the details of which way a piece should face with the holes and screws and pegs that are needed in specific areas are clearly laid out as long as you pay attention to what is shown. There's even some fun little things they include in the manual along the way like after the first couple steps a little note saying "some assembly required and snacks!" with a picture of a pretzel. Take your time and it will be fine. We are by no means handy at all and our dressers turned out beautiful. The color is great and we were so surprised at the quality and heftiness of these! For the price, this is actually a fairly solid dresser. Doesn't look or ferl like particle board. Not impressed with the back panel. Wish they'd constructed a backboard that could slide into the structure. Other than that, it looks good and serves its purpose.

A few minor imperfections/misalignments but not really noticeable. Pretty sturdy. Great piece of furniture for the price. My boyfriend was able to put it together in about 2 hours with minimal cuss words.

This review is for the Lintel Oak finish Chest of Drawers. I purchased this chest because I already have two of the night stands that go with it (which I also reviewed and gave 5 stars). This chest is heavy and sturdy. It DOES take some time to assemble! Unlike the nightstands, which took me about an hour and a half for the first one and an hour for the second, this chest of drawers took me close to three hours. I'm not saying it is hard to build, it is just that there are more parts to this piece and you REALLY want to take your time and read the instructions carefully. The instructions are easy to read, but can get a little confusing at times. Best advice is just don't get frustrated. You will be able to assemble this! Once assembled, the drawers slide like butter! If a drawer has trouble sliding, there are "fine-tune" adjusters on each side of each drawer. It looks like real "distressed" wood. The photos the seller uses in the description are good, but may be just a little light. Mine is a smidgen darker as you can see by my photos. I did not use a flash because I wanted the true hue to come out. So, all-in-all, if you set aside 3+ hours to build this chest, take your time, have fun with it, you'll really like the outcome and quality of this piece of furniture. I'm contemplating buying the headboard and I'd buy the Dresser if I needed one; but I just don't need a Dresser. Yes, I recommend this with the reminder to take your time and don't get frustrated. ... show more

I bought this for my bedroom. I spent some time putting it together only to find out in the final stages that the drawers had the wrong pattern routered on the back of the front panels (it was a mirror image, opposite the direction it should have been routered). I had already put the whole dresser together, so I spent several hours rerouting the reverse side of the front drawer panels so that the rest of the drawer would fit together with the front properly. I called and emailed the company asking for them to take a look at the defect and to refund at least something (anything) for the trouble of fixing it, and they refused. They said I had to send the whole thing back for a refund, but that would have been even more work on my part than I was willing to do. I asked Amazon to stand by the products they sell and refund some portion of the dresser or help me demand compensation from the manufacturer, and they refused. So I just put it in my bedroom and called it quits. It looks OK, a bit wobbly, and my mods on the drawers aren’t perfect so they don’t work particularly great either, but at least it’s put together the right way now. I do not recommend this item or anything from this company. They suck. They will do nothing to help you out when their products are obviously defective, it’s their fault in the first place.
