    • Solid parts that feel like they'll hold far more than my truss can handle.

Works great to mount my lights on my truss system. Solid construction for sure, but if you frequently mount and dismount your gear, these may get annoying as the butterfly nuts can get tight, and hurt your fingers loosening them. I expect they will hold more weight than my trusses can handle.

These clamps have worked great for my lighting setup. They are heavy-duty, well-made, and very easy to install and adjust. The large hand knob makes mounting and repositioning equipment quick and simple without needing tools. One thing I really like is that they fit a variety of pipe sizes, making them very versatile for different mounting situations. They feel secure once tightened and inspire confidence when hanging equipment overhead. For reference, I am using these to support both a fairly heavy laser fixture and a large Rockville haze machine, and they handle the weight with ease. Once tightened down, they stay put and hold securely without slipping. For the price, this 10-pack is an excellent value. They are much easier to work with than some of the cheaper clamps I have used in the past and make setup and adjustments much faster. If I need more clamps in the future, I would not hesitate to buy these again. Highly recommended for DJ lighting, stage lighting, haze machines, lasers, patio lighting setups, or any truss and pipe mounting applications. ... show more
