These high quality lighting clamps fit perfectly on my 3 Odyssey LTP2 Lighting Stands which have 1-1/2" Diameter Tubes. Very little screw down pressure is need for them to grip the pipe. I am using them to hang some lightweight LED Pars, Chauvet Kintas, and some heavier, double wide 4-Head lasers. No issues with movement and these are rated up to 200lbs. each. I was hesitant to order these for use on a cedar link truss with 1.5” tubes. After verifying the truss diameter with a caliper, I decided to give these a try since there’s only a .07” difference in size. I was able to make them tight on the smaller tube by tightening them all the way down. To avoid scratching the truss, I applied a .03” rubber tape to the inside of the top portion of the clamp. This has worked very well, both in protecting the truss from scratches, as well as making the clamp fit better. ... show more

These are great DMX light brackets. They are very solid, perform extremely well. Only issue I had was attaching them to my lighting truss, as metal on metal caused things to be slippery and my lights would weight towards the ground. I fixed this by wrapping a layer of duct tape around where I wanted to mount the bracket. This isn't the fault of the bracket however, they still are a great buy! ... show more
