I bought this for my church because we needed a nice cabinet to house our new filming equipment. The cabinet had to be a certain size to hold the all the electronic components of our live-stream filming equipment such as the mixer, microphones, laptop, etc., it had to be white, and had to be on wheels. We made some minor adjustments to the inside of the cabinet and it works perfectly for my church as an electronics cabinet. I had some help putting it together and we built it in no time. We did not attach the flip top as we didn't need it. It was such a great little cabinet, and I loved it so much, that I bought another one for me to use at home as my sewing cabinet. I really like it! This table is great, my husband and I put it together and it didn't take too long. We did accidentally put one shelf in upsidedown, and didn't realize it until it was too late, but I was able to cover it with some white shelf liner so you can't even tell.     • Great cabinet for the price, easy to assemble
Very nice sewing cabinet for the price. It is shipped in 1 box, and that box is very heavy (as a warning if you are trying to move the box with a single person). This would have received 5 stars had I received all the pieces in the initial shipment. I did not. When I contacted Sauder they were able to quickly ship the missing pieces. The instructions for putting together the cabinet are well-written. Once I had all the pieces, I was able to assemble it in about 5 hours (with a few breaks). I keep both a sewing machine and a serger on top of the cabinet. It has remained sturdy so far, and I appreciate the storage it provides. The shelves on the right-hand side of the unit are adjustable and the bins on the left-hand side allow for more extra storage. While I keep the left-hand table top up all the time, I did close it all up a few times, just to make sure the casters work. I'm very pleased with the product so far. ... show more

    • Can't go wrong with this cabinet
I purchased this cabinet/cart to be used for a sewing machine that I was given. I'm not someone that uses a sewing machine every day or every week, but I do have times when I need to use it for some repairs or easy assembly projects. I was getting tired of dragging it up & down stairs in its box to set it up for use, so I decided to look around to see if I could get a decent, modern looking cabinet to put it in. I quickly discovered that sewing cabinets can be quite a financial investment and I wasn't interested in spending a lot of money on one. I came across this cabinet/cart by Sauder and it definitely checked off all the boxes - it looked great, it wasn't too big and the price was right. Being no stranger to assembling furniture, I had visions of getting this and dealing with holes not drilled in the right place, pieces not lining up properly, and the whole thing being wobbly given the cost of it. However, I was elated with this one! It came very well packaged and I didn't have any damaged pieces (really surprising) and it couldn't be easier to put together.     • I put this together all by myself!
This was the first piece of furniture I've ever put together alone, and it turned out quite well. Thanks to clear instructions, carefully marked pieces, and all the parts needed to get the job done. A couple of the pieces were heavy for me (I'm mid-50's with mild joint pain), but I found it do-able by putting it together with the top on the floor and then turning the whole thing right-side up once all was finished. Maybe that's the way all these types of cabinets are put together, I don't know. The finished cabinet is nicer than I expected for the price. It looks good, has a nice smooth top, & rolls well enough on carpet. It's roomy enough to hold my two thread storage boxes, two bobbin storage boxes, embroidery cartridge, USB cables, instruction booklet, and some rolled up interfacing. The storage pockets on the door are ample enough for all the small sewing machine accessories, scissors (big & small), marking pencils, and an extra pin cushion.
