I’m new to the sewing world and bought this desk for my setup. I put it together myself; it took about four hours using power tools. The instructions do recommend two people, and I can see why an extra set of hands would’ve made it easier but it was totally doable solo. I’ve bought a few DIY furniture items before, and this one is by far the best quality I’ve seen. The hardware is solid, all the pieces were packaged nicely with no damage, and they even include extra hardware just in case. My main reason for choosing this model was that I can close it up and roll it out of the way when I’m done. I don’t have a dedicated sewing room yet, so it’s currently living in the basement, and the wheels make it incredibly convenient. The storage is great, and I think the price is fair for what you get. A couple of small downsides: I wish the screw holes came with plugs for a cleaner look, and I plan to add a hole in the top for my power cord and foot pedal since it didn’t come with one. But overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Really nice sewing,crafting desk. I have a second one g or sewing and it's 30 years old and still strong.Great storage,draws,and extension table great for cutting material.Does need assembly, keep in mind my husband put it together,it is a three hour ordeal. Follow instructions,pretty easy to follow,comes with all hardware,lots of packets all nicely marked. Looks sharp in my craft room. Very happy.

I did not give this five stars even though I really like the table, just because some parts were missing (screw lock and one screw), but even still it went together well and is a nice little table. I will say, though, it is very hard to put together alone. Two people would have been better. additionally the magnets that hold the doors are not strong enough to hold the doors closed, so I will have to add a latch to remedy this. If you are looking for a solid, space saving, attractive sewing unit at an affordable price then this table fits the bill.

So I have built ALOT of various build it yourself pieces of furniture. Bookshelves, small end tables, desks etc. etc. This sewing table was, by far, the easiest. Hands down! Directions were great and easy to follow. They basically have you build the different components to the desk first, then piece it all together. Easy peasy. 1st…I would suggest you do not use a drill. If you have a magnetic Phillips screw driver that would be best. 2nd…. Do not over tighten the cam lock’s. Tighten the screws just to tight, NOT super tight. You will end up stripping the screw hole or cam lock hole. 3rd……As you put the unit together, put the not used (as you build) screws and pieces back in the bag as you go. It will make a HUGE difference while you build and are looking for the coinciding letter on the bag that goes with the building step. Sure it’s a little more time consuming, but you will thank me later. 4th…. You will need to find an open area to build it in. Lay it all out with the coinciding letters on the pieces up so they’re easy to find as you build. 5th…. Have another person handy as you go further into the build to help you lift it. Some steps of the build will require you to move things around. A second person can prove to be invaluable. All in all I was very impressed with the quality. As you put a few screws or cam lock screws in their holes you will experience a little paint chipping. No big deal as it’s just lightly around the holes. And it is certainly not a deal breaker. My wife loves the desk. And one final note: There are a lot of questions in regard to the folding table top and how sturdy it is. It is solid and does not give away or bend. That being said I wouldn’t stand on it or let children play on it. We love this desk!

This table is ideal for a crafting / sewing space! It does take a good chunk of time to put together, but it’s worth it. It’s incredibly sturdy and provides a lot of storage space. The wheels on the bottoms make it easy to relocate the table if needed or readjust. The color is also beautiful. Great value if you’re willing it put it together.

This cabinet turned out to be beautiful. I got the soft green and assembled by myself. A few parts didn’t have a part number, but I was able to figure it out. I’m 70 years young so took me a day or so over a weekend but not difficult. Great instructions.

DON’T BUY FURNITURE on amazon!!!!! Bought several pieces of furniture on Amazon and each one is bad - they cost about the same or more than IKEA but the quality is terrible. For this table, we paid for someone to assemble it which cost another $100, and two days later, this door fell off. Then i looked at the screw and the material, how in the world can this crappy plywood and such a short tiny screw hold something you are going to open and close often? There is just no way. Now I spend several hundred dollars on sth that’s trash before it’s even being used. That is not the worst part. The worst part is the waste! Why make crappy stuff that’s not usable and produce so much trash? The producers pollute, the users are disappointed, and more trash are created because of poor quality stuff keep being made and sold! Amazon is partially responsible too as they facilitate the creation of such enormous waste. Now I’m going to just have to throw this brand new furniture away in the trash. Mourning the pollution, the waste, the lost utility.
