Although my table arrived with a broken top, a new one arrived THE NEXT DAY!!! Great folks to work with! This was a fun project to put together. Between the included instructions and the on-line video, everything was very clear. All parts fit perfectly. A bag of spares was included which was nice since I over-torqued a cam and broke it.... but there was a spare. The hardest part of the assembly was the last couple of steps... crawling on the floor (72 years old) to tighten a few screws. Folds and unfolds easily... stores machine nicely. Lift works great and is easily adjustable. This was fun and my wife loves it. Yes, it's expensive but seems to be sturdy and will probably get passed on the the next generation.

1) I bought this for my wife, who likes to make quilts (she has a very nice 12' long quilting machine) and recently bought a new Pfaff sewing machine to do the piece work ( replacing a Bernina she brought with her from the old country many years ago ). So I went on line to get her a nice table to match her new sewing machine. What I didn't realize is she needs lots of tabletop space to the left of the machine. This unit has lots of space to the RIGHT of the machine... fairly useless unless you have a 5 gallon sized coffee cup. I dont think this was QA'd by quilters, even though the on-line reviews said it was perfect for that job. - BOTTOM-LINE you will need another table to the left if you work on large pieces. 2) The unit takes a full day to assemble. This is fine if you have a day to lose, and I am sure if I was 40 years younger I could have knocked it out in under 6 hours with a lot of practice. The basic material is not real wood, but I will say that it seems to be good quality. Time will tell... 3) The "Three-position hydraulic lift" has adjustments for sewing machine height. These adjustments include some kind of plastic/nylon pieces that steel screws secure. These pieces are not visible during adjustment. When you go on-line to review the proper adjustment steps, you see a person using a power screwdriver tightening the screws. When I did that using my screwdriver the plastic/nylon threads were instantly stripped. Fortunately the unit has a second identical piece for the lower latch ( not height adjustable so no need to tighten ), which I swapped. This second one I did not strip, but I am afraid to over-tighten it, so it fails to hold the adjustment height correctly. I am trying to jerry-rig a way to make the adjuster stay at the right height. I wasted a lot of time on this, and I am still not done. BOTTOM LINE - the height adjustment mechanism is a good idea, but poorly engineered/manufactured. I feel like they saved $5 on a $1000 machine. If the nylon piece was made of quality steel, or even permitted steel nuts to be used, it would not have been a problem. The engineers might want to re-think the way the adjuster and the rail meet... perhaps a rough surface would work better.

This cabinet works just as advertised and closes up very small and quickly when you want to store it. My wife and I put it together in a few hours. It was time consuming, but not too difficult.

The product is defective and not worth the price. Boards don’t fit correctly and the Amazon installer spent five hours putting it together and installed hinges upside down, chipped and cracked the drawers and doors. He did not install all of the parts and left after he stated “I have a long commute ahead of me.” We have called Amazon twice and they were supposed to call us back but we have NOT received a phone call from them.

The only trouble we had assembling this cabinet was with the power lifter. A quick phone call to customer service resolved the issue. It is very sturdy and less expensive than other brands so I’m pleased. Have had it assembled for several days and so far meets all my expectations! And customer service answered after two rings and a human answered the phone!
