  • No nonsense quality wireless keyboard
Color: Dark Gray/Gray
Works well, no need for drivers and no automatic bloatware install. I love that. It connects quickly and has good features to save power, such as turning off the backlight after inactivity. The keys have nice feedback and are comfortable to use for longer periods. The key switches are like brown switches and provide feedback with low noise and average weight. The build quality is good, they used metal on the frame, which feels sturdy. It has a luxurious feel to it. My only issue with it is the placement of the backlight button. It is next to the backspace/delete button. If pressed by accident you need to press it a dozen more times to get back to the setting it was on. ... show more

  • Amazing click-feeling!
Color: Dark Gray/Gray
I have been looking for a nice mechanical keyboard that isn't too loud for some time now. I finally found it! I really like Satechi as a brand, so I knew i wasn't going to be frustrated with this one. Definitely worth it!

  • Comfortable keyboard with great typing sound
Color: Dark Gray/Gray
The mechanical keys provide a satisfying tactile feedback and make typing a breeze. I also appreciate the compact layout. The LED backlighting is a nice touch, especially when typing in low-light conditions. The only downside is that the Bluetooth connectivity can be a bit finicky at times, requiring me to reconnect occasionally. Ido wish there were more customization options available. On the plus side, the keyboard is well-built and offers a comfortable typing experience. It's a decent option if you're looking for a compact wireless keyboard, but just be aware of its potential connectivity issues. I dont know if its really worth that price point. ... show more

  • Well made with one critical problem
Color: Dark Gray/Gray
I use a lot of keyboards. I have a whole bunch of Logitech and Apple's Magic keyboards. This one well made with just the right amount of clicks and support for both Windows and Mac at the same time. However, there is one issue with this keyboard, due to which I returned it. When the ON/OFF switch is turned OFF and I connect the keyboard to a USBC charging cable, which is only connected to power adapter, then the keyboard turns on and wakes up the host computer. It also keeps working like the ON/OFF switch is ON, when it is really not. While it may not be a super big deal to many, but I cannot trust the ON/OFF switch to work as it is supposed to. A hundred dollar keyboard should not have this issue IMO. My Apple, Logitech and even some cheap keyboards I bought get this right. This behavior is confirmed by the manufacturer when I contacted them. But they feel it is the correct behavior. Well, I'm going to have to disagree. Otherwise, the clicks are great and getting it to work is easy. YMMV. ... show more

  • Nice Keyboard!
Color: Dark Gray/Gray
My go to keyboards are more standard laptop/logitech MX master type keyboards, so this mechanical keyboard is pretty cool. Its switches are more satisfying to hit but it definitely takes some getting used to and it is not really for me. However that doesn't take away from the fact that this is a great keyboard, everything works very well and it looks really nice. ... show more

  • Great compact keyboard with a mechanical feel.
Color: Dark Gray/Gray
Overall, I love this keyboard.. Once you get it set up, and get a couple of key-tops changed out to fit windows. It starts out as a Mac keyboard, until you switch out key-tops and switch it to Windows mode (done with a simple fn+P press on the keyboard). I use a pen/graphics display to draw/paint, and because of limited space in front of it when I design, I have a compact keyboard sitting there when I need to type. This keyboard is the perfect size. It supports two connections over Bluetooth, one Wireless (2.4 GHz), and wired connection. A USB-C cable that functions as both charging cable and wired connection is included. Its best feature is the backlit keys which is a must-have for me. First keyboard I have seen that supports both wireless (runs on battery) AND backlit keys. Great. Although I'll probably mostly run it in wired mode. While typing this, I just noticed the one nuisance thing about it. Aarghh.. I have owned many keyboards over my many years using them, and there has always been a backspace key and a "Del" key, with different functions. The printed name on this keyboard's (functional) "backspace" key is "delete", which I can only assume is a Mac aberration. A "backspace" key-top is NOT included in the package to get it named appropriately. As you can see from product pictures, diagonally right next to this "delete" key, where the backspace should be, is the normal "del" key. So, this keyboard essentially has two delete keys, but with different functions. Fortunately, the "delete" key masquerading as a "backspace" key is right where it normally is, so everything functions, and why I did not even notice it until now. It acted as a backspace key when I expected it, despite calling itself "delete". But, really, a "backspace" key-top should be included for Windows users, if Mac keyboards insist on calling that "delete". Otherwise, probably one of the best compact keyboards I have seen. Works great, plus it has all the usual extra functions ("fn" - keys) for switching modes, dimming backlight, controlling your music player, ... If you are used to a full-size keyboard, typing on a compact takes a little getting used to. But for me, it replaces/supplements an existing compact, so it works out just fine. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Wish they kept the LED settings simple, but works OK
Color: Dark Gray/Gray
Low profile keyboards for whatever reason are getting more popular and though I prefer to game with slightly taller key profiles, I'm always willing to check out a new mechanical keyboard. I have a couple of low profile boards but only recently acquired ones with tactile switches. I like that there's not much pre-travel in this Satechi keyboard so you immediately get some resistance. This is in contrast to the linear switches (and similarly Cherry Speed Silvers) where I constantly mistype since it's so easy to actuate each key, especially with lighter red switches. I think this Saitek is a great compact keyboard for travel, controlling a living room PC on the couch, or even for productivity/desktop use if perhaps you wanted to replace an Apple keyboard. I do think it's a bit expensive compared to other sub-$100 keyboards these days. The LED patterns are a little cheesy and takes away from the sleek design. I would have much preferred maybe 2-3 simple backlighting patterns (all on, light up on press, off). ... show more
