We use this attachment at least once per month and most of the time it works great. Occasionally, the connection through the valve stem is not solid and requires a little fenagling. As this is my first gripping inflator adaptor for tires, I do not know if this is typical. Previously, I used the type that you had to hold down on the valve stem which is also a precarious setup. So, it is at least much better than that. Essentially, if you attach the nozzle to the valve stem, engage the compressor and then see a sable pressure reading, your stem attachment is solid.     • Inaccurate, and leaks
PSI scale isn't large enough, hard to read, especially at low pressures. Gauge is inaccurate by comparison to other gauges. Air port leaks, cannot leave it on compressor.

I was looking forward to an easy to use tool for adding and adjusting air. I found it hard to read the tics for each pound around 32 PSI. Also accidentally found that after connecting the hose to the stem that if I pushed in on the connector that my PSI reading increased by about 8 pounds. So it's not very accurate.
