I wear watches most days, whether it’s a smartwatch at home and while exercising, or analog watches like this one for work and outings. I picked up this watch from Sapphero because I liked its design – the blue background and contrasting colors really stand out. Most of my watches are quite expensive, so I didn’t expect much from one at this price. While it’s not a Longines, Omega, or Seiko, it’s pretty good. The build quality is solid. The leather band is comfortable, and the watch body feels sturdy. However, the instructions are hard to read due to the tiny font. I had to take a photo with my smartphone and zoom in to read them. Adjusting the settings was easy once I figured out a few things, but there’s no noticeable 'click' between the P1 and P2 modes. Additionally, the seconds sub-dial has a flaw – when the stopwatch function is reset, the second hand starts at 55 seconds instead of 60/0, and there's no way to adjust it (-1 star). Other reviews mention this issue as well. I’ve worn the watch to work for about 10 days, and it has performed well. It’s light enough to be comfortable, shows no significant signs of wear, and has kept time fairly accurately – within 2 minutes over the 2 weeks. It's not a great watch, but it’s good enough, and the reasonable price makes it a good value. I only wish the stopwatch second hand on mine was correct. ... show more

This watch is so good-looking! I love wearing it, looking at it and getting compliments on it. Definitely the kind of watch that you could wear at any age and look cool. Can make a great gift, especially at that price. Where to start? The watch face crystal itself is a deep, rich midnight blue color that looks black under some lighting and navy from different angles. It even comes across as charcoal grey. It also has some cool 3D aspects: There's a subtle geometric shape between each of the line markers, which are a shiny metallic copper color (as are the stopwatch hands, small second hand and large second hand). The hour and minute hand have an off white color, bordered by that same shiny copper color. The lugs and around the dial is an enamel black color that really showcases the watch. I'm pretty sure that color is bonded onto it, so there may be the possibility of chipping or scratching (?). The band is made of quality leather with great stitching details in a saddle color. The one thing I do not love about this watch is that the band is stamped with the brand name. It's the only thing that I feel like tells you right away that it isn't a higher-priced watch. It's not that bad though and it gets partially covered when you're wearing the watch, so...not a big deal. ... show more

Nice looking watch. Large 1 ½” diameter face. It is easy to tell the time even with the other dials on the face. The lines are sharp and crisp. I like how the light reflects off the angles of the number markers. I had a little trouble following the instructions because I’ve never had an analog watch with the timer and hours inset. However, once I understood it was very easy to set. I’ve been wearing it for about 5 days and have had no problems with the back or buckle irritating my skin. It keeps time accurately. I can tell the time when I wake up at night with the glow/illuminated hands. I’m very satisfied with this watch. This price is very reasonable. ... show more

Quite a handsome watch, especially for the price ($39.99 at the time of this review). Has some heft to it that I didn't expect. I have probably 15 watches - most are Swatches, with a couple of cheap semi-smart watches (low end Amazfit). Nothing nice though, Swatch is typically bright and colorful. I don't really dress up often, hence why I never owned a "nice" watch before - but this will be what I wear when I do from now on. Its tasteful, with a nice contrast between the face and band. Claims to be good for up to 100 meters too, but this isn't really the kind of watch you'd wear for diving or swimming. My only complaint is the text in the booklet is really tiny. I can't read it at all even with glasses, I had to take pictures of each page and blow them up on my phone to read them. Someone with better vision shouldn't have much trouble reading it though.
