I just bought my 3rd one of theses. In fact I decided to buy my 3rd before I wrote this review. Little by little word will get out and these will either go up in price (See eBay) or be scarce for the holidays. I gave this product 5 stars despite the complaints that I have. Let me say what they are, so you are not surprised. 1. The Power on/ Bluetooth pairing/Power off voice is ridiculously loud . I had another player and it seems they use the same company for that voice as it was same volume and can't be turned down. My next Criticism is that because of the way I use it, vs it's primary mode of function, it presents a problem. This is a Bluetooth player. I use it has a Micro SD card Player. My complaints are based on it's secondary features not it's primary. If I let it play it does not seem to play in Alpha just random. The button that controls the volume is also the " Next" button. So if I go to raise the volume and I do not do it right It goes to the next song. Pain in the rear. That concludes my gripes. Now for the good stuff. The sound of this player is awesome. I just set it up to fail and instead, it passed with flying colors. I felt that testing this with a CD called " Super Base 2" would be unfair. But since I was writing a review I figured way not expose it's limits. I Played Misterioso (byThelonious Monk ) This is 3 people playing Double base at the same time, plucking or bowing. It passed with flying colors. Not only did it maintain it's composer it maintained claim to fame, which is sheer musicality. When you see pictures of it , I think they make it look bigger so one does not judge it by size. In fact had I known the size it would have prejudiced me against it. So glad they tricked me. You can put it in a small room or a patio and get real music not just sound. If you are a person who know the difference, then GO FOR IT!!! I plan to write a longer review but i know people are looking for a x-mas present so I just did a quick review, to put out something I hope will be helpful. 12-19-2020 I respect the reviews of others and their experiences. I just want to add a little extra to my review. I am a budget audiophile. To replace my main system would cost at least 7,000 no brag just fact. Fun fact, if i put poorly recorded music in my 7,000 system it sounds worse then it might sound in a cheap system. So highly compressed poorly recorded Mp3's trough a Iphones may sound worse. Also you are getting double amplification. 1 from the Iphone and then 2 from the speaker itself. Best to have the volume reasonably low on the Iphome and use the speaker for volume. As I said in my review above I am using to play the micro SD card. WELL recorded wave format files. Only using the speaker for volume. I also use a XDuoo Player that is playing DSD files and and other higher quality waves. So i mention this to help people manage their expectations.

After about 6 months my santana europa died. Just will not take a charge from any source, including the charger that was working just previously. Quit with no warning. Prior to its untimely death, it was adequate but not particularly impressive. OK sound but I was expecting better bass due to reviews, size and celebrity. Nothing bad about the sound compared to similar offerings but nothing special either. Unfortunate.

I purchased the Europa for my Dad for Father’s Day because his Bose Bluetooth speaker quit working after a year. I’ve purchased other Santana audio products and the sound quality is fantastic so I thought I might gift the speaker. All I can say is “Buy This Now”. The sound quality is unmatched at any price point. Sound literally filled the room with just the right amount of bass and clear notes. Willie Nelson never sounded so good as my Dad is a huge fan and played it all day.

I have had these speakers several weeks now, still debating if the good outweighs the bad in them. The good: very nice box, Santana logo on endcaps, sound quality good. The bad: battery life is beyond pathetic. When played at 2/3 volume and fully charged, 90 minutes or less. Grills very cheap material, already several dents in each (I bought 2) with careful handling. I bought these to use at a distant, remote, powerless environment. So the very, very poor battery performance is a VERY big negative here. I'd have to say that aspect and the flimsy, cheap grills make this a purchase I wish I hadn't made. I understand Carlos is a musician and not a sound engineer, but with his established quality of music, women's shoes, and restuarant background I certainly expected better construction, and a product that matched specifications given. I would be embarrassed and not allow the marketing of/relinquish my endorsement of this sub par product if roles were reversed.
