So far, actually this is my favorite item that I’ve ordered on Amazon — It’s like a book light but rigged with plant light waves. When I was looking for a grow light for my plants, I made a list with the features I was looking and based on reviews, what people liked the most and didn’t like – and that’s when I found this gem. The Sansi light seems to be latest design that resolves all the problems or limitations of other plant lights. Flexible: A flexible light was not initially what I had considered I love this feature was included. Timer: repeating timer with presets to 12, 6, or 3 hours or you can manually turn it on or off. I finally saw it come back on same time as when I first set it everyday. Limitations: It is going to need to be plugged in as most plant lights. Thus does just what I want and more! A+

I got this trio of grow lights this morning, and at first blush, I'm extremely pleased with what I received. I ordered three, thinking I would need at least two to meet my needs and have a spare on hand. But I was pleased to find I could get ~8 small/medium potted plants with one. I clipped the light to one of the larger pots on the shelf and centralized the LED disc. See images. They are on a west side window, so I'm getting a little sun later in the day. Winter is coming. I have a much larger setup in the back south-facing window and grow light wands. However, I wanted to have a few low-light plants in my home office and researched a few different lighting options. I looked at the rings. I used to have a few of the bulkier octo-arm style lights and wanted something far more streamlined. These are perfect. The LED disc is less than 2 inches. White light, no visible color spectrum change. The gooseneck is ~12 inches long, extremely flexible, and stays put, has a good grippy clip (I had to clip to one of the pots), and has suitable adjustable remote features. These are perfect for several small plants, a couple of larger ones (depending on how you situate the light), awkward spaces, apartments with limited windows, shadowed corners, etc. What a wonderfully simple and clever design. I recommend removing all of the plastic wrap. I'm at a loss as to why I see picture after picture of plant lights in use with the plastic film still covering the gooseneck. I've set mine to the second lowest light level (pictured) for 3 hours for now, so see how they'll do.

Sansi makes excellent plant lights and I use their bulbs whenever possible. I was excited to see that they were making small LED lights to be used in small places. And yes, the lights are actually cute. They are plenty bright with good dimming choices. The clamp is sturdy without looking like a piece of raw hardware. The gooseneck holds its position because this tiny little unit weighs almost nothing. It is easy to set the timer and it functions as expected. What could be so wrong? I've discovered that after the timer is set to go on and off daily, the set indicator light is always on and very bright. Depending upon the number of hours on, the timer will show red, green or blue. And even when it is night time and the timer has turned off, it continues to show a green or blue or red presence. I don't like the fact that the very bright color is on while the light is working and it negatively impacts the look - but it's even worse to walk into a dark room with a bright light.....doing nothing. I'm really sad that Sansi didn't apply the aesthetic obvious in the rest of the design to the switch which is bright enough to be visible no matter what.

These lights are awesome for their price and they totally saved my plant hanging in the corner that wasn’t getting any sunlight. I didn’t know they came with timers, which are really nice and easy to operate because of its 3 settings- 12hrs, 6, and 3. If I had anything to complain about, I would say the clips are a bit small but the rubber touches on the inside help them stay in place.

I bought these for my seed starts once they were too tall for the lid. I like that these can clip anywhere and the adjustable neck lets me direct the light where I need it. The starts actively grow toward the lights so I trust that they’re emitting the correct spectrum for growth. The heads do get a little warm, but not too hot to touch. They’re very light, the timer and dim functions work well. Very versatile little lights.

I'm just getting started on my plant journey and have found these to be extremely helpful. I love that they clip on so they don't disturb any soil, and I have found the timer on them to be wonderful. I set my plants under them anytime they need extra light or when I'll be away from home and will have my blinds shut. They have been working very well. One thing to note - they do need to be plugged in to work. I missed this when I first ordered, so was surprised to realize this when they arrived. I've been able to make it work, but this would be important to know before purchasing.
