The TV is OK. What I don't like is that it does not use android so you can't use the app store to get apps like Dish Anywhere or VPNs. There may be a way to side load but I don't know. I could keep using my Google TV dongle but that kind of defeats the purpose of getting a smart TV in my opinion. Also there is an Ad for Tubi TV that you can't remove and other stuff loaded that you can't remove so you have to wade past the ad to get to what you want to watch every time you turn the TV on. I do like that I can use my Bluetooth earbuds to listen without disturbing my wife. ... show more

    • Terrible Smart Features and Remote Control
Picture nice but not as good as my old Sony Bravias. Installation is a nightmare. It would be better to have a PC setup site where much of the typing could be done with a keyboard. Replaces a Roku tv whose smart features and setup were much more reasonable (video ugh). Samsung automatically disabled important U-verse remote controls (on/off, mute, volume, dvr) forcing one to use both remotes to do routine things. I'm too old to waste time finding and using two. When we turned on Alexa, an echo of tv speaker sound on all our Alexa speakers occurred. Plan on going in circles and blowing lots of time if you try to get rid of these user unfriendly tortures. ... show more

There's nothing wrong with the LED set itself, I have no complaints on that score. Views are crisp and meet my expectations, it is with secondary elements that I have a real problem. The remote control is so minimalistic and primitive that it makes the product almost a trial to use for basic functions. I found the "smart features" so intrusive that they added absolutely nothing of value but simply increased my annoyance with the product. Look before you buy as the saying goes, it's adequate but I should have followed my own advice. ... show more
