Update: Got return details for this HUGE BOX and we have to pay to ship it back to them where they then get to decide if they’re going to refund us. Again, if you’re thinking of buying this, save yourself a headache. Tried to set up this tv and it won’t turn on. Tried every outlet. Tried every troubleshooting option on the internet. Called Samsung and they said since it’s a refurb tv it doesn’t have a warranty and just to send it back. Cool. Don’t be like me, don’t buy this refurbed tv unless you really like unpacking and repacking tvs. Super disappointed. ... show more

It’s a great TV, the mounting system works great, but let’s get real- you’re not going to fool anyone into thinking it’s artwork. It glows like a TV. Maybe I had my expectations of Art Mode too high, but it just feels like a screensaver. That being said, picture quality and sound are fantastic, but I’d you need it to feel like artwork, maybe the tech just isn’t there yet. ... show more

First of all, this TV is spectacular, and everything I hoped it would be. Unlike most TVs, it actually improves the beauty of your space when you're not using it. It looks like a real painting when you get the brightness set properly, and because of the UHD resolution, even the brushstrokes and mattes look realistic. I actually find the art so beautiful to look at in my living room (get the Art Store subscription, it's totally worth it) that I'm turning on the TV out of boredom less and less. I sip coffee with a book, and every 10 minutes I look up to yet another gorgeous painting from the Tate Gallery in my living room. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in the feature. HOWEVER, I'd probably look for another retailer to buy it from, as my experience with this one was extremely frustrating. I chose this Electronics Express store because even though they charge a little more than most, they listed a 2-3 day delivery time, and all of the other refurbs were much longer waits. Turns out, the third-party shipper they use (SEKO) is awful. I got one tracking update when they took possession of the TV, and then there were no tracking updates for about a week. Weird, given that the drive from the origin to my house can be done in one day. I finally called the company directly, and they told me it was "moving within their system" but there was no other info and they couldn't guarantee a delivery date. Not even a ball-park estimate. I was ready to cancel the order and just go buy the TV at a local store, but Amazon made me wait several more days before they would process the return because I guess a week late isn't late enough. A few days later, on the day that Amazon would finally agree to cancel the order, I got a call back from SEKO that said they would be delivering the next day between 10am and 2pm (signature required, even though my building has a package room), so I took the day off work to wait for it. The TV finally showed up at 6:30pm, in the pouring rain, wrapped in a tarp, stuffed into the open bed of a pickup truck. (I live downtown in a major city, 20 minutes from the airport the TV was delivered to, not somewhere out in the boonies that would necessitate a 6 hour delay.) So 5 STARS for Samsung for their beautiful TV, and ZERO STARS for Electronics Express/Amazon/SEKO Logistics for getting it to me in a transparent and professional manner. ... show more

The mounting hardware kit that shipped with this was not the correct one for this tv model. We ended up having to purchase the correct one separately. Otherwise awesome tv.

We were so excited for this TV. When it got here, there were trim pieces and drywall chunks in the packaging... Thank goodness we didn't mount it on the wall before testing it out because it didn't work! The return process was straightforward, but so disappointing to get a "new" TV and not have it work. Usually we love Amazon warehouse, but this time, it definitely didn't work out well... Ended up getting the same TV at Best Buy (we love it!) ... show more
