This is our second QLED 4k smart tv from Samsung. They are very good televisions. The picture quality is top notch and personally I think Samsung TVs have better pictures than LG, Sony, Roku and Fire TVs. Very quick and easy to set up. It connects to the wifi smoothly and keeps a solid connection. This one is in our kitchen and it is great for watching the news while eating or something entertaining while cooking/cleaning. The remote charges by solar so we will see how that works. We stream spectrum, netflix, prime, hulu, apple tv, disney, starz, and HBO with very little difficulty (the spectrum app buffers more than any other current streaming app.) I especially like the samsung tv app which has free channels and is similar to Roku tv, Fire tv, etc. free channels. That app is on both QLED TVs we have but not on older Samsung TVs. The QLED TV initially came with a voice assistant "bixby" that I've never found useful. They have the ability to use Alexa. I've set it up on both and had mixed results using it to turn the TVs off. The Samsung remote for these TVs is very streamlined and some may find it less interactive than a traditional remote with many buttons. The price for this TV is fair and it is a better TV than competitors priced in the $100-200 range but if you're price conscious or on a budget I'm not sure you would find the improved picture and smart features worth the extra cost. We recently switched to Spectrum "cable" which no longer uses a set-top box and the app is NOT compatible on Fire TVs and is clunky on Roku TVs so I needed a good TV that can reliably stream spectrum and this one does. The internal speaker is not great, but TV speakers almost never are so that's not unusual. I have an older Samsung soundbar I hooked to it and it sounds great.     • The TV is great trying to get it mounted was a nightmare
After seven hours on the phone in total with Samsung, trying to find the right screws that fit into this… We finally just realized you need super long screws of the M4. There are no threads until the very very back of the hole. Why nobody could answer this for us on Samsung support I have no idea. We were even sent him four screws from the retail store that sold us this on Amazon… They were nice enough to send them, but they were also the short VSA screws that did not fit. You need really long ones. It looks like it doesn’t fit because the screws are so much smaller than the hole but they screw in at the very back it’s weird Other than mounting. The TV looks great. They should really include those screws with this TV since it is a $500.32 inch TV throwing in four of the correct screws mounted would’ve been expect. at that price point. ... show more
