This speaker is really nice! I wouldn't pay $1200 for it, but I got it for $400 and am happy with it. There are some design flaws, so I see why people have returned it, but I can get past those flaws and enjoy the product; The app isn't the best and can only be used by whatever device is providing the sound. The power cord is in an awkward position. The wheels work, but you have to move slowly to keep it from rocking back and forth. I suggest a two-wheel dolly to make it easier. The access panel door covering all the inputs will push buttons if you lift it too high. This is my biggest complaint about the speaker. I'm actually thinking of getting another one at the sale price when I can ... show more

very few thorough reviews on the mx st90b out on the web. sound quality is excellent, clear, with good separation coming from 2 woofers, 2 mid range speakers, and 2 tweeters. Neutral profile sound, not muddy or too warm and not distorted. just a nice even sound with the bright but not shrill highs, clean mids not muddled, and palpable bass that is not underwhelming. Bass has enough bone rattling punch to be effective but not a standout nor does it completely overpower the mids and highs. Volume can max out high enough to be deafening and uncomfortable. It will fill a large space with good quality music. Bi-directional speakers offer a wide area of effect and act like stereo speakers with each side acting as left and right channels. comes with a very handy remote control, but the sound tower app is lacking and the helpful little screen from the previous model is gone. I wish it had an internal rechargeable battery but alas it is plug in only. The design of the unit is also very sleek, simple, and elegant, it will not look out of place in a classy living room. Pairing the device was quick and I did not encounter any connectivity issues. Overall, i am very happy with this product and highly recommend it. If you're going to complain that JBL is louder with more bass blah blah blah, just take your JBL and go. If you are a looking at the Samsung mx st90b, then it is a solid buy especially if you can find it at a discounted price. PS watching videos of the speaker playing music does not do this justice, you must hear it in person to appreciate the quality of music it puts out. ... show more

I really wanted to love this large Bluetooth speaker, but unfortunately, I had to return it due to a faulty charging port. Out of the box, the speaker looked great—it had a sleek design, was solidly built, and the sound quality was impressive, especially for its size. The bass was deep, the volume was loud without distortion, and it seemed like it would be perfect for outdoor gatherings or parties. However, the charging port didn’t work properly. No matter how carefully I plugged it in, the speaker wouldn’t charge, and it seemed like the port wasn’t making a solid connection. I tried different charging cables and outlets, but nothing worked. The battery ran out after just a few hours, which was really disappointing. I reached out to customer service, and they were helpful with the return process. I was able to get a refund, but it’s frustrating that the speaker didn’t work as expected, especially since the rest of it seemed like a great product. Hopefully, it was just a fluke with the unit I received, as the speaker itself had a lot of potential. Overall, while the sound quality and design were excellent, the charging issue was a dealbreaker. I’d recommend being cautious and checking reviews for any similar complaints before purchasing. I received a Samsung MX-ST50B 240-watt blue tooth speaker as a length of service employee appreciation award from work. Set it up to be able to connect it to a PC, Samsung TV, or a phone, then to a Panasonic 400-watt 6 speaker surround sound system that connected to two Klipsch 400 watt 12” subwoofers, then to a Logitech 3 speaker PC set up, sounded clear but lacking in sound volume for the room size. This system is in a 24’x40’ open big room with the surround speakers mounted on the top book selves along a 40’ wall. It still needed more sound volume, so I added A Samsung MX-90ST90B 1700-watt speaker, better so I got a second one just like it and daisy chained everything together. Sounds loud and clear at full volume and earplugs are needed to protect your ears. Pleased with the impressive looking and great sounding 3 Samsung speakers and set up and how they upgraded the sound punch of the old Panasonic surround sound system. Tested the dB of the system and the 400-watt 6 speaker Panasonic surround system with the 2 Klipsch 12’ sub woofers and Logitech 20 watt 3 speakers was 75 dB at 8’ from the speakers at full power. When the 3 Samsung speakers turned on full and bass boost at 8’ the dB was 97.5. At 1’ of a large Samsung the dB reading was 105. ... show more
