Sometimes you have an old TV that got kicked out of the main area where everyone gathers to watch TV or movies. You live with the TV built in speakers as they are good enough and you don't want to build another surround sound system in the bedroom. Then you come across this gem during Amazon's Black Friday sale week. I recommend buying this before Thanksgiving as the prices jumped each day afterwards. Setup was really easy as the speakers were paired already somehow even though this was brand new. Maybe they figured consumers would love Samsung more if it just worked out of the box. My 50" Sony TV from 2008 didn't have HDMI ARC, but many years ago I bought an optical digital cable for my PS3. I still had the same cable which wasn't being used so I was able to use the following setup: 1. Amazon Fire stick for HDMI input 2. Supplied HDMI cable to output resulting video to my TV 3. My old optical cable from soundbar to TV I used the Bluetooth button on the remote to toggle Bluetooth pairing mode and paired my Samsung S23 and wife's Samsung S23 Ultra immediately. We opened Spotify and turned up the phone volume to max. I played Taylor Swift's Ready for it and my wife was instantly convinced it was a good buy. One tweak we had to make to get Fire stick audio louder: 1. Go into settings. 2. Audio 3. Change the auto mode to PCM 4. Then reboot the fire stick through settings. I watched some movie previews on YouTube and it was awesome. I adjusted subwoofer to maximum volume. Soundbar is right in front of the TV and the subwoofer is between our dresser and wall in a corner. I am a firm believer in always putting subwoofers in the corner(s) of your home. Keep in mind this won't blow away your 400 watt 12 inch powered subwoofer in your main surround sound setup. But it gets the job done and is good enough for most rooms if you don't want to have such a setup or spend that kind of money and sacrifice space.

It is good for the price. Thought it would incorporate well with our Samsung tv but it consistently has to be re-connected, wish it would default to the soundbar rather than the tv speakers.

I have a Samsung TV and selected this soundbar to avoid compatibility issues. I was upgrading from a smaller Bose sound bar and was stunned at the improved sound. I had no idea what I was missing. The install could not have been easier.

Quite disappointed. I waited a week for these to arrive. It came in brand new with original packaging. I had these set up immediately but turns out it doesn't work. The soundbar doesn't turn on after many attempts, even after trying different power outlets. Only the subwoofer turned on but no use since it has to connect to the soundbar. Hence, I can't write a review on the sound quality and connectivity. The soundbar itself is quite long in length. Material looks sturdy and not cheaply made. Will be returning this. Update: it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't received a refund yet. Will need to reach out to Amazon to resolve refund issue.

I could not pass up the price on the new Samsung sound bar. I added it to a new Samsung TV and now I have a sweet set up.

It's not a high end Bose but the is sufficient for me. The set up was straight forward. Q synphony is compatible with Samsung tvs, allowing for the use of the TV speakers in addition to the soundbar. The TV remote controls the soundbar as well, which is very convenient not having to rely on two remotes. The sub has a decent amount of bass, nothing crazy. Overall the sound is vastly improved compared to just having the rather inadequate tv speakers.
