Not a fan of the hinge cover isn't really convenient to use. But the reason I'm returning it is that the volume down button doesn't work with the case on. I can only turn it up. This also means that taking a screen shot using it doesn't work either.

I was pleasantly surprised by this case after some other reviews. The leather was really dry when I opened the box and I was worried it would crack and flake. But a few applications of leather conditioner was absorbed immediately and softened it to a lovely buttery texture. I didn't use the sticky strips that are on the inside and it stays on my phone no problem and the lavender purple color is lovely. So far there's been no color transfer or scratching and once it was conditioned the leather flap slides smoothly without catching. ... show more

At first I thought my Flip4 was breaking. It kept resetting, turning the volume off, and all sorts of other issues. Then one day I realized the leather cover was moving around. An aha moment. I went back to the bulky Caseborne hardshell cover. Wouldn't you know it? No more issues! It's bulky but it doesn't do weird things to the Flip4. ... show more

It feels like a quality product and looks good. However, I was hoping the color would match the lilac color on the phone, but it is so much more pale. Also, when the phone is folded, it does not offer any protection on the folded corners of the phone. So it loses a few stars for that.
