So let's just say I've gone through a number of android tablets over the years. Prior to getting this Samsung tablet, the Pixel C and the Huawei Mediapad M5 were the best of the bunch. Those are old. This is new and this is now the best I've ever owned. Considering how old the pixel c is, I'm going to have to say it still is a very good functioning tablet. Yes, it's still around after... I think it's 5 years. But this is about the Samsung galaxy tab s6. The 10 inch screen is rimmed by a pretty thin bezel... Maybe 5/16 inches in thickness all the way around. It has 2 buttons and 4 speaker grills. It charges via USB c and it does not have a headphone jack. The 2 buttons are the power and volume buttons. What I found cool is that it has an on screen fingerprint reader (not super accurate... It doesn't always work) and it can be setup for face recognition. It has a standard front facing camera and a rear camera. I don't use this for pictures and videos so I don't really care about the specs on that hardware. Suffice it to say that the video calls are clear enough. I'm not going to get into the specs. When you buy a tablet of this level, it has high end specs. Those are good to glance at to make sure you have something good but in the end, I just need it to perform. There is no doubt this tablet has power under the hood. I haven't even felt any lag with it yet. I've played some games with a connected Bluetooth controller and that's been very smooth. Video playback is great. I also find that the wifi connection seems much better than my older tablets. Areas in the house where I would have spotty connection isn't a problem with this s6 tablet. The screen is sharp. It gets plenty bright and I really enjoy my time on it. Right now, it's a lot of YouTube. If this was a different time I'd be watching a lot of movies on it while flying somewhere. I thought this was going to have a ton of samsung bloatware but it didn't. That was a nice surprise. It does have some handy features for those households with other samsung devices. Smart view has been super handy to cast the tablets screen to my TV. I think the battery has possibly been the most disappointing aspect of the tablet. And that doesn't mean it's bad. I haven't tracked exactly how long I get from a charge but I think it's between 5-6 hours of active use. I think I charge every 3 to 4 days. So by no means is this bad. It's good but I don't think I can say it's great. I was getting those numbers from other older tablets too. I do love that this charges really fast. Using a high powered USB c charger, I can get this big battery charged up within about 3 hrs. I haven't checked exactly how long but I plugged it in around 10am and by about 1, it was full. I'm really happy with this tablet. I'd get it again with only a small hesitation. The price tag is pretty hefty but if I get a few years from this, it'll be worth it. I can use it throughout the day without worrying if the battery is going to die for roughly two days. I use it for work, school, and a couple games. It does it all very well, and the S Pen works great for written notes. And I feel is a step above a standard stylus. It so far has had enough power to edit photos on Adobe Light room without issue, and well as run all the apps I need. Overall very impressed. ... show more

My refurbished tablet looked new. I couldn't find a single blemish. I don't know what the battery life is like on a new tablet but, I'd say this tablet's battery life is similar to my Galaxy S8 Active. Very happy with this tablet, the display is really nice and the processor is more than capable for my needs. I mostly use the tablet for browsing the internet and watching videos. I don't game on the tablet, so I can't offer any insight on gaming performance. For me, it was money well spent. ... show more

I bought the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. I went for it because of its price and thought it was on sale not realizing it was Amazon renewed. After buying it and realizing it was used, I was quite skeptical seeing as it was a couple dollars less than the new one. So I did some research and looked up reviews of Amazon renewed if it is really worth the price. I found that a lot of people are pretty satisfied with it, so I guess knowing that reduced my anxiety of it coming broken as they come. Even then, before it was delivered I had thought it would have so many scratches or that it just wouldn't look good that I would have to return it. But when it did come, I was rather surprised with how new it still looked. There where no scratches or cracks whatsoever. There were a few finger marks on the back but they are absolutely cleanable. Everything worked well. The battery life was pretty good. I was able to use it for 2 days without charging at night. The S pen worked as it should. The only thing though is that it doesn't come with it's original box and charger. So if u want that maybe this isn't for you. Nonetheless, for a college student like me, I think it's a fair purchase. Bought two of these recently. First one arrived in what appeared to be new condition (no scratches), charged, and quality charger. Based on such a good impression, decided to pick up a second one. Second one had some deep scratches on the back (scratched the paint, and into the aluminum), the glass on the camera has a small chip (though the lens and light path are fine). Crappy charger that gives the slow charger warning (though the charger is printed to support faster charging), oh and the system was not factory reset. Some of the previous users info and apps are on there. Screen appears in good condition and what appears to be a new s-pen is included (edit, the s pen actually had a lot of issues and did not work like the first order). The lack of factory reset and the deep scratches on the back though are what brought the review down to a 2 for the second purchase (3/5 for both). -edit- Included in my order was a business card with a number to contact support. I contacted support, they responded promptly, and got me set (partial refund due to damage, and sending out a replacement s pen). Support also noted they sent me the wrong color tablet. ... show more

I am totally satisfied with my purchase from eLGeo. I purchased the exact same thing from Wolfreeze but I returned it because the S-Pen did not work. I contacted the seller, no response. I made another purchase from eLGeo. S-Pen worked but broken tip. I contacted eLGeo through email and I got the working S-Pen in a few days and it works like a charm. I use a lot of PDF annotations and the S-Pen was the main factor I chose for this tablet. I am satisfied with S6 and S-Pen and the seller was eLGeo not the other one. ... show more
