    • First smart watch, I like it
This watch is pretty great. I bought it was a renewed watch since I wasn't sure how much I'd like having a smart watch, but I'm pretty happy with it. It's my first smart watch; I bought it originally to keep track of my steps/general fitness and for the obvious time function itself. For the most part, I haven't had issues with it. I've dropped it a couple of times, I've dropped something onto it and smacked it into something when swinging my arm around, but there's no obvious damage to it at all, it still functions as intended. The wristband is also holding up surprisingly well, given that I've had it for over a year from when I originally bought the watch (ordered it 5 Feb 24). My ONLY real grievance about this watch is, because I wear it on my left wrist, when I bend my hand back enough it'll trigger the buttons. During exercise, this'll pause my workout tracker; outside of exercise, it can trigger one of the trackers to start tracking something I'm not actually doing. Both are annoying, but they're minor inconveniences. Otherwise, it does what I want it to: tracks my steps, fits correctly, tracks my workouts, tells me the time. The "AI" function on it, Bixli, is kind of useless? I don't know. You have to yell at her to make her listen, and even that's a struggle. I've tried her out a couple of times and it didn't go well, so I just disabled the function. The other features are good though, and there's apps you can download if you want to really personalize your watch face. Otherwise, Samsung does have a lot of good ones to choose from in the watch itself. Oh, I've also taken this watch swimming and into the shower and it did just fine. The water might trigger a sensor to where it thinks you're trying to do something on the watch if it hits it just right, but otherwise no issues. It also has a water "remover" function that you can scroll to and it'll vibrate to shake the water out. The battery life is pretty good. I usually charge it every night or every other night, especially if I know I'm going to the gym, but general use it goes around 2-3 full days before it needs another charge. Obviously, the more you use it, the sooner it'll need to be recharged. You can just slap it onto the charger base and you're good, it doesn't take long to recharge at all. For example: right now, my watch is on standard power mode and says 88% battery left. It estimates it has 2 days, 5 hours, and 21 minutes of battery life left. It was fully charged this morning, before I put it on and went to the gym. The text function is also good, you can read texts pretty quickly and it has quick responses for you to send, or you can write something out on your watch face, but that obviously is a little more time consuming. Phone calls also go through and you can answer them on your watch, so that can be a handy function as well, but I rarely use it. It obviously has other functions/apps you can add to it, but I'm just telling you what I use and what works for me. Overall, I'm happy with this watch. This has been a very good watch. The battery life can go 2 days on a full charge. It gives me the basic notifications and functionality that I want in a smart watch. This size and weight are less than my Fossil watches. Extremely good value for the price and it looks great! I don't like the look or the price of the apple watch and ice been an android user until the last 3 years or so. I It stays connected and some time ago the find my phone feature stopped working. This model I believe is the last model that works with the iPhone as the newer ones are not compatible. The band that came with it didn't last more than a few months but that's okay. The first replacement only lasted a few months, the 3rd one lasted about 7 months as you can see in the picture. I would definitely buy this watch again. ... show more

Great watch. I needed something for my husband that would be easy for him to use and navigate through the functions and this watch is perfect. It tracks steps, heart rates, has calendar, messaging and answering capabilities plus its waterproof and durable. The multitude of functions are easily accessed too. Watch itself is great, looks very nice, screen is great, functionality is good, especially for workout tracking. I use mine mostly for phone notifications, workout, health, and sleep tracking, checking the weather, and controlling music. Does all these very well and looks good doing it. Battery life is over 2 days, even when I've tracked workouts both days, which is a big step above my Galaxy Watch 1, which I would have to charge almost daily. And for the price (about 100$ right now compared to 300$+ for the newest generation) it's way worth it. I was a little worried about the size, but the 45mm Galaxy Watch 3 is just a bit bigger than the 41mm Galaxy Watch 1, so they were definitely more efficient with space this time around, fitting a much bigger screen on a slightly bigger watch. Unless you have very very thin arms, you'll probably be happy with the size. The only bad thing is that mine came with two noticeable scratches on the glass face, and a couple on the bezel. I thought about returning it but didn't want to go through the hassle, since the glass scratch (the one I cared about most) wasn't really taking away from my experience. It's mostly noticeable when the screen is off, but when the screen is on it becomes a lot harder to see. This was purchased as a gift for my boyfriend. His original.wat h finally died after living the blue collar life. I purchased this one as a replacement. He says it works well, no issues with the device itself. The only real issue he had was that standard universal watch bands weren't wide enough for it where the connect to the unit itself. Not a device problem but just something to be aware of. Definitely measure the device and compare sizes before purchase.     • Does exactly what it's meant for!
Hello, long review alert. 1. I use this watch all day to track my step count and physical activities, to receive phone calls and notifications without having to pull out my phone at work, and to track my sleep at night. So far, this has proven to be an amazing investment. 2. Battery life was very low the first few days(half a day or less) but I realized that I was maybe letting too many notifications go through. Once I reduced the amount of notifications (sms,calls,some other apps), it now lasts a day and a half. I don't use the always on screen also btw. 3. I don't like to tighten the bracelet too much because it's kind of a leather type bracelet and looks like it could wear after a while. The watch stills does the readings very well even so. I bought a replacement bracelet so I could preserve this one for other occasions. 4. Speaker and mic are awesome, people hear me very well and without distortion and I hear them clearly also. Bluetooth also works very well. I did not try adding a eSIM yet but once I do I will update the review. 5. It came without scratches or apparent signs of tear and wear. My kids dropped it at least twice and it did not scratch. 6. It glitched once(quick panel wouldn't show) but after reading somewhere that I should just restart the watch, it works just fine now. In conclusion, I would recommend this watch for people who won't need it for heavy usage. Would make an awesome gift for people who work a lot and need a good track of when to take a little break and stretch.     • Not refurbished. Used watchwith a new wrist band
I received my watch. It was very dirty from the previous owner. Never cleaned from the "refurbish" it does have a new wrist band. The wear on the back side of the watch shows it's age. Battery dead upon arrival but after day one it's seems normal. Front screen has minor scratches. According to Amazon's refurbish grading the watch shouldn't have any of this. Price point is great but advertisement is completely misleading. You are purchasing a used watch with a new wrist band. But after day one everything is working correctly ... show more
