I've had the phone for 2 weeks now, bought to replace my s10 with a deteriorating battery. I was a little worried about ordering after seeing some of the bad reviews for amazon renewed phones, but really everything is covered by their return policy so I decided to go for it. After 2 weeks with the phone, I'm very pleased not only with the s23 in general, but the phone arrived in perfect condition. A few scratches around the charge port but nothing you wouldn't expect. Screen and back plate were in perfect condition as listed, absolutely no scratches at all. Now, maybe I got lucky with a good clean phone, but I think this is probably what the average experience is. The s23 is a great value at $250 and is hard to beat, especially with the 90 day warranty that basically relieves any and all worries of getting a bad/broken phone. ... show more

Haverly Store Review on S23 Phone purchase: 10/23/2024 (approximately): After purchasing an S23 from the seller in May 2024, five months later phone mysteriously stops working, months after we had purchased and had been using the phone without issue. I called our phone carrier to find out what the issue was and they stated that the account that originally purchased this device was canceled due to non-payment. This account is associated with the IMEI number. So the phone carrier had blocked that specific IMEI number due to non-payment. This indicated that the seller had sold a phone with an outstanding balance. 10/24/2024: We contacted the seller asking them to correct the issue so that we might resume using the phone. According to our phone carrier, the only way for the IMEI number to be unblocked is for the account balance to be zero balance. The seller states that because the 90 warranty window had passed that they could not address the issue. We respond saying we were sold a phone with an outstanding balance and that we were not aware of this until the phone stopped working a few days ago. Had we known of the issue, we would have reached out to them sooner. 10/25/2024: Seller: "We are sorry to hear that But this order is from May 2024 and it already passed our 90 days warranty period. Any issue should had reported within that window. Please contact Samsung store or go to your local carrier shop for tech support" Me: The phone does not have any technical issues, it’s simply locked because of non-payment. Can you please address the reasons behind the non-payment? I purchased your phone through Amazon, yet the IMEI has been locked for non-payment. Can you please address the reason for the non-payment issue? Would you or your representative be willing to get on a conference call with T mobile to help address the non-payment lock on the phone’s IMEI number? Seller: The phone is for T-Mobile only. Did you try to insert your sim card to the phone and try it out? Can you able to make / receive calls? Me: Since May 2024, after receiving the phone from you, we had a SIM card installed in the phone and the phone was working fine and able to make phone calls and messages. This phone is for T-Mobile only. Have you try to insert your T-Mobile sim card to the phone directly and try to using it? At this point, I lost my patience and had to call Amazon customer service, which then sent refund requests to the A-Z guarantee group, who kept rejecting it because they didn't seem to understand the specifics of the case. I had to speak to an Amazon supervisor several times to actually get a refund for the phone. I finally obtained a refund on 11/19/2024. Conclusion, beware of this seller. They had at least one phone in their inventory with an unpaid account balance. Who knows how many more phones with unpaid balances they have. If this happens and you don't realize it before the 90-day windows has passed, they will not give you a refund and you will have to battle it out with Amazon reps and supervisors for several weeks before you get your money back. ... show more

Was delivered on time and I had no issue transferring my information from my old phone to my new one. It came with a charging cord, but did not supply the tool needed to open the Sim card holder. I ended up using a skinny paper clip to open the slot. Reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I ordered the cream color and recieved a black one. The peper listing the details of the phone even had the color as cream, guess whoever packed the phone didn't see it was the wrong color. Otherwise the phone works just fine.     • Second Samsung refurb purchase, one major issue

Updated review: defective USB Port. After the intermittent charging issue, I began to get a "moisture detected" error (despite the phone being clean and dry) that would not resolve and became persistent to the point where it would not accept any USB charger. Thankfully it carries the 90-day return policy. I will try an exchange with the same seller and report back. This phone was listed as "good," but seems excellent cosmetically and functionally (battery, touch, speed, etc.) At first I was concerned because the phone came with zero charge and 2 of my chargers didn't work when plugged in (minus 1 start). After swapping cables and Google research, eventually I cleaned the battery port with compressed air and everything now seems to charge properly. Wireless charging works great with compatible case. Battery life is excellent. Fully unlocked- inserted SIM and my carrier apps loaded. No qualms with a like new flagship phone for under $300...90 day return policy gives some peace of mind. Will definitely go this route again when shopping for a new phone. ... show more
