I bought this case for the s23 ultra because the s22 and 23 Ultras are the same size. However the openings for the phone on the back are off a little so I modified the case to work with my phone. I wanted a case with no card slots this was as close as I could get or find. I called Samsung, they told me so sorry we don't make one like this for the s23 ultra and probably won't. Modification is not pretty but it spends most of its time in my pocket and it does the job I want which is protecting my phone front and back. I don't like carrying credit cards debit cards whatever card with my phone because I will lay that down and walk away from it where I won't walk away from my wallet. ... show more

It's a nice case. I like the clock etc. It's fairly high quality in material and build. Not sure how much it would protect from a drop, but it seems as good as any non-rugged case. I wish there was a magnet to hold it shut like other cases have though because it only stays closed when laying flat and level. And sometimes even then if you've had it flipped open for a while. It even comes open on the wireless charging stand. It also blocks the assistant from being able to work, because it won't respond unless it can turn the screen on, and this blocks the screen from coming on until you open it, even with the assistant set to work with the screen off. You can disable the case from locking the phone when you close it which may fix this issue, but then you lose a feature of the case. I give it a 3/5 because it's nice though. ... show more

I've been using this Samsung case for a while now, in fact, it's my second one. It usually lasts me around a year before I notice some parts beginning to peel away. That said, I'm genuinely fond of the front display cover – not only does it look good, but it also offers a decent level of protection. While it might not be your savior from a high drop, it certainly provides a good buffer for those minor accidents. As someone who repairs phones for a living, let me tell you, fixing a phone like this isn't cheap ($318+tax, ouch!). This case pretty much pays for itself with the first save. This thing is a piece of junk. I have no idea how it's sitting at 4.5 stars with 70% 5 star reviews. It's underfeatured and overpriced. My last gen smart cover on my Note 20 Ultra 5G had more features than this does and that one had reduced features from the previous version. I don't even know where to start. I put my driver's license in it, and the case won't even close! The LED notifications are bare bones and look like something I would have seen as cutting edge 20 years ago. It's lazy. I can even feel the ribbon cable through the spine of the case that connects to the LED lights. Everything about this case is terrible. Don't waste the cash on it.
