It's high-friction rubber, which stops it slipping around, but some people will be annoyed by it sticking in your pocket. The phone case was nicely packaged and was delivered unharmed. The color is exactly as pictured. The only thing to keep in mind is that this case is not super protective, as it is silicone rather than plastic. If you're looking for a light weight phone backing, this is the product for you!
